Likes

I liked the knowledge level of professors...they have whole lot of knowlege and they always try to help us in every situation..The learning method is also good as they teach us through ppt also then explain the stuffs in blackboard..they are mentor .
Here there are so much clubs that we have lot of oppurtunities to learn and expose ourselves to any thing we have to learn..
Here the exam system is very good as all the thinks are well oriented and we don't have to go anywhere else to give the exam

Dislikes

Here there is limited sports equipment and less number of grounds so we have to limit ouselves to play any sports
Here there is lot of exams happening anytime so we don't get time to do anything else by our own
Campus is little bit outside of main city...

Course Curriculum Overview

After doing the 10th exam...I was somewhat interested in coding..so decided to pursue my career in Computer Science only..Course is well equiped with the industry demands..but the frequency of exam is very much..it is lil bit hectic to us.

Here lot of companies visit after 5th sem for internship oppurtunity ..we there is tough competition among students for internship...as companies wants lot of skill to have with us ...so that they can provide the internship to us..

After 6th sem we are eligible for placements ..companies come for hiring and they recruit us on the basis of skillset... Here both service-based and product-based companies visit our college and around 900+ companies visit our college every year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes scholarships are provided but only for top 1000 rank holders in VITEEE exam..Overall the cost the 12 lakh for category-1 students..I have engaged in some of the clubs so get some stipends if we organize any event

Campus Life

Here the cultural fest called Vibrance is held every year in the month of March and technical fest called Technovit is held in the month of October..Here there are lot of clubs like GDSC,MIC etc..so we can join any of the clubs

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel there is a self attached table and chair for every student so we can study without any disturbance..Also the menu for mess changes every 2 months but the changes is very little..food quality is not that much good..

Hostel Fee: INR 136000 per year

Admission

We have to give a exam called VITEEE exam..and on the basis of rank awarded to each student we get admission to this college and branch...Difficult to get Computer Science branch is Category-1,2 or 3.

Our class have a strength of 65..so not that much crowded so teacher can spend some time with any student for a while..They try to explain the things in a very easy manner and will not start any new thing unless we all understood.

VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. I applied in BITS,MIT,SRM and VIT and I have WBJEE too. I chose this college as my relatives did their course here and i was inspired by them. And i heard VIT has good NRIF ranking. Life of an MBA at VIT

All of us know VIT for its flagship program which is B. Tech but its MBA program is too good as well. I gave the CAT exam and secured 85 percentile which helped me in taking admission at VIT.
