Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum for diploma program in instrumentation and control engineering was great and was matching with the requirements in industry. Control system, signal processing, Digital communication these all were few mentioned subjects that really help students for the industry experience.

Internships Opportunities

Training and placement department always call companies for internship opportunities. They also provide in campus training program in collaboration with some industries to train students for ready to release in industry

There were companies like Infosys, Mahindra, Raldon, Swaraj, TCS, Capgemini, etc. were taking participation for campus hiring process. Training and placement department always try hard to get good companies for campus hiring.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for diploma program was 8500 that includes hostel facility. The mess charge students had to bear from themselves that was around 2400 per month. There were few scholarships based on merit, weaker class scholarship, girls scholarship and state and central government scholarship as well.

Campus Life

Campus is spreaded in 451 acres. Overall experience in college was amazing. There are many college clubs like Happy club, SLIET strategic society, endeavor, robotics club, NCC & NSS as well. Annual technical fest, social fest and cultural fest also organize every year

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility was really nice and had a great experience there. You will get a large area room with three bed with proper arrangement like chair, study table. Mess food was healthy in consideration of non oily foods.

Hostel Fee: INR 1500 per year

Admission

Application process and admission process was quite smooth. It was national level SET exam. One who qualify the exam have to opt for counseling where you have to select the courses you are interested in sequence order of your choice. Based on availability of seats and reservation you will be called for admission.

Faculty

Faculties in sliet were well qualified and having lot of experience in teaching fields as well as having industrial experience. They always try to give an advanced and adaptive teaching exposure so can student can get current demanding experience.

Internship

Placement Experience:

Placement is quite good here almost all 80% of students got placed every year from University and students in 4 semesters get the opportunity of internships. I am in 2 years of study and likely to get an internship next year. Many MNCs like Tata, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra select students for jobs.

if you believe himself and you have want something in our life then go a head and get our dream.

Placement Experience:

After the 4th semester but placement classes start in the 3rd semester. you will also now the package if you will best knowledge you will get the highest package but here I tell you the minimum package is 4 lack per annum. and you have to sit in the placement you have a minimum above 5 CGPA.

True experience of a SLIET Student

I only looked for government colleges as they are affordable and well-reputed. I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. Sliet Journals : Must for bigginers

I choose this college honestly as it was a centeral government college under josaa and has significantly less fees which would help me save for my master's . Internship apportunities in SLIET, Longowal

I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
