Genuine review for Ramdeobaba college

As I have completed my 1st year in this college , I found some of the subjects in my curriculum to be completely useless and some important subjects to be not included in the course . Some subjects like FLIC only test out mugging up skills , how much we can mug up and vomit the same in the answer sheets.

Our college don't actually provide internships but some companies do visit our college providing intership opportunities to the students and students have to enroll for those internships and their own risk and terms and conditions .

Our college placements are the best in the city . More than 100 companies visit our college during the placements time . Highest package offered last year was about 38 lakhs per annum whereas average package is of about 4 lakhs per annum.

The fees structure is not the same for all . It's all about your cast . The general category students though having good score in the entrance exams have to pay the full fees, whereas the SC/ST caste students get to pay only half of the fees regardless of their marks or anything. The college fees ( for general category) is quite normal as of any other engineering college .

The campus life is not so good . You just have to run here and there for all the different classes and the classes take your entire day . Sports and extra curricular activities are given no importance . The accessibility of books in library is also good . Tech festivals takes place time to time but we are given no attendance if we skip classes due to the event . So the practicipation rate is very less.

The facilies provided in the room are pretty average . The meal is also good . Though hostel is affordable and registration process is also pretty easy. The Hostel is around 2 km away from college in Friends colony.

The eligibility of the course is based on your score in MHTCET or JEE Mains exam . The application forms and fees structure are available on the college website as well as in the college itself . There are reservation benifits for Hindi minority as well as OBCs . The college exams are conducted every 2-4 weeks and are moderately hard.

The faculty members are well qualified . Some of them teach very nicely and clear out concepts . But some of the teachers even after all the qualification alhave zero knowledge about their subject . They can't even read slides properly, forget about clearing the doubts. While being in the practical classes , the teachers don't even care what the students are doing they just assign us the task and then leave the lab .
