Course Curriculum Overview
I chose my course for the obvious reason of it being the most intresting of all as well as having a huge demand in the market. We have 2 unit tests and one end semester exam in the span of one semester along with practical exams, hardest of all is the end semester exam whereas the unit tests are on the easier side. College provides with the basic curriculum but its insufficient for placement , therefore students need to learn extra skills for getting a placement. A suggestion would be to have an updated curriculum as the technology and society are evolving at a fast rate.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunites are offered alongside the placement opportunites, internships are provided by a lot of companies with a good stipend. The highest stipend offered was of 2 LPA. If a student doesn't want to apply for internship they are given a project from the college to complete in a semester. The internship and projects make the student industry ready by giving them the experience they need. A student can also look for internship outside the campus.
Placement Experience
College has a well organised and proactive Trainig and Placement Cell which caters the need of students and make them industry ready. Students from 6/7 semester are eligible for campus placements. The number of companies visited this year (till oct 2023) is 66 and a total of 756 offer were given. The highest package being 37 LPA and average package of 9.8 LPA. About 90% students are placed every year excluding the students opting for higher studies and startups. I am personally looking forward to get a good placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is same for every branch in the college which is 165500/- for the first year, as you move into the second year of college the fees is reduced to 160000/- . College also provides scholarships to eligible students who are top scorers in their respective class or in any other competitive exam. The fees is also less for students belonging to SC/ST caste or Hindi minority.
Campus Life
College life here is a perfect balance of fun and opportunities, College has awide variety of clubs according to everyone's interest such as art club, dance, drama, ...sports and spirituality clubs etc.The annual fest of college is called "PRATISHRUTI" and is held in month of January or February which is filled with fun and frolic, other than this a lot of other events are always going on in the college. The college also has a huge library providing all the material neede for exams as well as other category of books like self-help and non-fiction, autobiograhy etc. The campus also has 2 volleyball courts, one basketball court and once football court. The classrooms are well ventilated and are spacious too while maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene. All the classrooms are provided with a projector and computer system other than the usual blackboard.
Admission
Admission can be done on the basis of marks of various competitive exams such as MHT-CET or JEE etc. The admission is done either by the rounds of the exam or a management round conducted by college. All the details are provided on the official website of the college . The cut-off for hindi-minority students as well as students belonging to SC/ST caste is less the general student. There is no GD/PI for the admission in the college it only depends on your exam score and availability of seats.
Faculty
College faculty is good, well educated, polite and knowledgeable. They are also very supportive and helpful towards any query or problem of students. They are easy to approach and comfortable to talk about any problem let it be professional or personal. Professors make good use of all the labs and workshops as well as the projectors and audio-visual learning.
