Likes
- Green and big Campus. Campus experience is really good. One football ground and one cricket ground is there moral less one can enjoy the campus life
- Opportunities for extracurricular activities, clubs, societies, student chapters are there in our college from there we are getting to know about many things which are important for an engineer.
- Supportive and experienced teachers there approach is friendly.
Dislikes
- Syllabus is old fashioned as per the industry need the university does not update the syllabus properly
- College was not giving Practical knowledge in a great scale so we need to gain proper practical knowledge from outside source
- Cafeteria is good but space is less and capacity of cafeteria is also less.
Course Curriculum Overview
The overall course curriculum is good. For example as i was a Electronics and communication Engineering student in my course i was getting in touch with all necessary subjects related to ECE like: VLSI, Microprocessor and microcontroller, Embedded systems, iot and We have some of the CS based Subjects like:- C, DSA, DAA, Python etc. So the curriculum of the course is good overall but there is gap of practical knowledge in this curriculum as well. Exam pressure is too much that's why students are not able gain there practical skills.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are there college will provide all the guidance for the internship opportunity if one is eligible. Companies like celebal technology, IBM, CMERI etc. Offering internship offer.
Placement Experience
From 7th sem students are eligible for the campus placement drive. From 3rd year students are getting a chance for placement training offer by our colleges placement cell which is world class 80% of placement preparation can be done there. Many of the IT company's and core company's visit our college for campus placement. There is also some internship opportunities from the college side if one is eligible for internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is decent for the current scenario. All the government and non government scholarships are available for students. Student loans and student credit card loan is also available. Inside the campus bank facility is available. ATM facility inside the campus is available.
Campus Life
Campus experience is really good. A big and green campus we have in our college. Many in house and ground games are available for students. One big football and one big cricket ground is there inside the college campus. Although there are various clubs and societies like cultural club, coding club, etc.
Admission
Eligibility :- 12th from Science background with minimum of 60% marks Admission is take place according to the Wbjee and Jee mains counciling Wbjee rank:- CSE:- under 25000(3rd round) IT:- Under 40000(3rd round) For Rest of the departments if you have under 50000 rank in Wbjee then your admission is 95% sure within 3rd round
Faculty
Most of the faculties are from IIT Or NIT Or Jadavpur pass out. Students to faculty ratio is also good for example our department have 120 students and have 31 departmental faculty that is almost 4:1 faculty facility. Faculties are very friendly and helpful they will guide properly what to do when to do what not to do and so on. We have our personal mentors also.
