Likes
- Campus size Very Big and completely engrossed in nature that gives you quite comfortable and fresh vibes
- Lecture Hall Tutorial Complex(LHTC) that is what we call our main building where all classes are held and honestly speaking it's quite spacious
Dislikes
- Situated in outskirts of jabalpur City so you have to travel half an hour to main City in case you want to buy anything from city
- Mess good is not that bad but still somedays it's quite on the down side and works are still there for its improvement
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is quite good and hectic as well in some semesters in order to make you understand the very concept of your stream as well as others. Frequency of examination is well appreciated as it is good and need no changes.
Internships Opportunities
Interships and pre placement offers are given but since I am in second year so don't know specifically about roles given. Student can explore auto cad, robotics related and Google Summer of code related in projects in first and second year.
Placement Experience
Student are mostly eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year or after end of 6 semesters except of few who get in 6th semester as well. Highest package in mechanical branch was 50 l.p.a. and average would be 6-7 l.p.a
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee is ofcourse high but can be adjusted depends on what scholarships you get. Scholarship are there for every category students both central and state except for General category students from other states who also have options for their respective state Scholarship but it depends on state to state.
Campus Life
There is annual technical fest as well as annual cultural fest tarang . Apart from these throughout the year different clubs organise their respective events which is quite interesting and fun. Sports and co curricular activities are there but again it's club restricted and you have join clubs and follow clubs rules in order to enjoy that. Jagrati a social club which helps to provide education to students of nearby villages by college students.
Hostel Facilities
Fan ,bed, closet, chair, table, tubelight, switches and sockets and windows in hostel rooms. Mess food is average not that good but obviously there is improvement from previous batch. Registration is online and quite easy from institute's portal. No service of local pg as it completely hostel resident college.
Admission
JEE mains examination is the entry level examination in which you need to get a specific rank in order to select different streams in this college. Reservation benefits are there except for home state reservation which is not here.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is good as far what I have seen and it can be increased for betterment Teaching approach except in few selective courses is well equipped and proper. We can interact with teachers very oftenly except again it depends on teacher to teacher.
