All you want to know about before choosing KIIT UNIVERSITY

The course curriculum is designed keeping the industrial scenario in mind There are quizes around every 3 weeks. The mid semester examinations are held after 45 days of start of semester and the end semester exams take place after 90 days from start of semester. All these exams are moderately difficult if one studies daily he can easily score well in his/her examination.

Jp morgan, Bosch, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, TCS, and many other companies offer summer internship here. There are both paid and unpaid internships offered. The stipend may range from 5000-20000 a month depending upon a person's qualifications and capabilities.

Once a person reaches 7th semester he/she gets eligibile for placements. More than 600 companies visit our campus for recruitment. To name the top ones we have Bosch, Capgemini, YugaByte, Tcs, Wipro and many others. Many students receive more than one offer letter. Around 10000 offers are made. The Highest package for 2023-2024 was 63 lpa and average came to be 8.4 lpa. The job roles were from software engineer to analyst and many more.

The fees structure is subject to change as per the college administration but it changes once a year for the new batches. Once you're enrolled into the college the fees will remain same throughout the course. The complete cost for Btech here would cost a person around 20-23 lakhs for 4 years. There are various scholarships available with different eligibility criterias. Briefly the top 1000 students of KIITEE examination get 10000 rupees monthly as scholarship. There are other scholarships for underprivileged and meritorious students.

We have KIIT fest here which is a grand event. Other than that there are countless seminars, webinars, hackathons and other events conducted here throughout the year. We have an indoor stadium as well as cricket stadium, gymnasium and other grounds all around campus for sports and physical development.

There are many options to choose for hostels. I have chosen two bedded AC room. In the room you get bed, mattress, pillow, bucket, mug, studay table, chair, a balcony and washroom. The food here is satisfactory and the menu comprises of both veg and non veg options. Registration for hostels is through mail received from the college itself.

The eligibility for BTECH here is PCM in class 12th with 60% marks. there is no fees for the application form and the dates for the application starts from January and extends till June as the exam is conducted in 3 phases to give maximum opportunity to students. The difficulty level of this examination is a bit easier than JEE.

Faculty at KIIT University is among the best in all colleges in our nation. Most faculties are from IIT and NIT and other premier institutions. They are highly knowledgeable in their respective fields and are very helpful. Reaching out faculty members is very easy. We can call them , text them or even meet them at their respective cabins after the college hours.
