Considering UPG as your degree college?

Dislikes

  • Delayed notes: The notes given by the teachers are delayed sometimes and that is something which had disturbed many students during the exams.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Primarily the course focused on the theory aspect in the first two semesters, but as we moved forward the agency part kicked in and we were exposed to what is actually required in the real-world. The course is a perfect blend of theory and application

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is quite flexible compared to other colleges ie it is 18000 for a year. There are no scholarships available but there are short term courses available and placement cell is also active

Campus Life :

There are too many committees which a student can be a part of ranging from cultural to social service to debate societies and stuff. The committees only build up a child's confidence and make them more motivated to network and talk to people. Sports is also taken seriously in the college and there is a day dedicated to sports once a year where many tournaments are held. Wide variety of books are available in the library which helps children to widen the knowledge

Admission :

Eligibility of the course: 90% for open category and 80% for gujrati quota in 12th board examination. The application form can be found on mumbai university and the dates will be given too. Frequency of the exams is every 6 months and it is not so difficult. The admission process is quite smooth and doesn't need that much improvement

Faculty :

The faculty is highly educated with industry expertise too. The teachers have a friendly pattern of teaching and can make concepts easier to understand by seggreagting them into ppts and infographics. Their tips also help us understand what we should take up next.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is pretty good according to me. It covers all the basics that a bachelor's student needs to know about psychology. We are taught using various examples, assignments, videos, etc which make it easy to comprehend. The only problem is that the course is not that rigorous.

Entrance Preview:

The college different internal admission process which functioned very smooth. Students were selected on the basis of their overall performance in SSC+HSC.

Admission:

Post our HSC score. Admission forms and eligibility criteria were made available on the college website. Post submission of form along with various documents. We had to wait for few days before the cut off list. Once our name appeared on online cut off list. We had to opt our choice of subjects for the course.
