Brief review of Vivekananda College for women, Delhi University

I was interested in studying about Political Science and wanted to study more about it that's how i chose this subject for my graduation. This curriculum prepares you with the deep knowledge of history of political science and views of the great philosopher and how their views still are valid in today's world. You can get government jobs through this knowledge. Areas of improvement I would say is the library of the college. They can provide us with some more books. Exams took place twice a year for each each semester. The difficult level was medium to high. But one can easily crack them if they study well.

Delhi University is a central university. The fees of the course was very low. I completed my graduation by paying 18000 for whole course. There are several quota available for EWS students, OBC, SC/ST, and other backward castes and they can easily apply to it by just providing them with the right identify proof and certificates. I did not take any campus employment and not that i know anything about it

There were many festivals that have held at the college. Some festivals were held for the occasions of national holidays and others were cultural fest and also some National level programs. But they were not as good as the other colleges in the north and south campus of DU. I did my graduation with political science so the classrooms were simple and there were not any technological provisions within my classroom. There were many groups like dance groups, Street play group and other cultural groups. But leaving Street places it the other societies were not active like them.

In 2019, the criteria for admission in DU was merit based.. I secured 91.6% in class 12 amd could apply for this college through DU portal. All of the information is provided on their website. Cut off got declared in month of july and i had to chose from the colleges that provide BA(Honours) in political science. Admission process was easy buy you have to be very careful while filling up the form because one mistake can bring extra load of work. Delhi University is crowded with these problems.

The faculty members from Political Science Department were very knowledgeable and well versed on whatever they were teaching. They were either assistant professor or professor. They had there PhD and were doctorate in Political Science. They even helped the students in deciding the best colleges or universities for further studies and shared their experience. The best professor was Gargi Sengupta and Priya Sharma. The teachers were very much approachable at any given time at the college and even after that through texts.
