The course curriculum starts to teach you with making you basics strong and will take you to higher and advance level of your field sharing with you the problems you can face and also preparing you to tackle those problem effectively.

Placement rate of CU is very high , there are large number of companies coming to cu for placements every single year. But if anyhow you didn't get placed in campus you can apply to companies outside also and the demand of engieers is high but the supply of quality engineers is low.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite simple and you can also pay in small amounts if you need , a support team is also their to help you everytime and also you get a chance to avail a scholarship upto 100% via thier cucet entrance exam. thier are many on campus placement opportunities as every year around 900 companies visit the collage for placements.

Campus Life

Mine overall experice is quiet great but as i am a introvert so don't expreience too much social life here but yes there are a lot of club who oranizes events on a regular basis making your social life a joy and full of interaction. and talking about the infrastructure , it is well highly furnished and well maintained by the management.

Hostel Facilities

Being a hostler i think the hostel facility is much better than renting out a pg or flat outside the university as you don't have to take any tenion regading transport or making food when you are in hostel .

Hostel Fee: INR 120000 per year

Admission

the admission process was very simple and easy. i didn't face any kind of problem while my admission process and also you can take admission via thier own cucet exam, cuet exam , JEE Exams but a minimum of 70% is reqiuerd in 12th joining PCM.

all the faculty members are highliy supportive and well educated from respected and well known institues and the way of talking to students and understanding their problems is also very good and appreciable.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

My imperfectly perfect College life reviewed for everyone who needs it

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
