Remarks

Overall it is a nice infact very nice college in matter of study hostel and campus as well. little error in placement cell but this department is also getting developed.

Entrance Preview

SET-sliet entrance test. I score 54 marks. I opt this college bcoz I want to be a software engineer. Now I am doing diploma from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is very nice. Name of the course is icd also b.tech and m.tech program is running in this college. Faculty is highly qualified and well trained they teach us nicely.

Internships Opportunities

I am proud to be a part of this college. Here atmosphere is very nice for the students who want to study. As we know that if a student doesn't want to study then non of the college is good for him.

Placement Experience

Placement is good and job opportunity is also nice but not so good as in iits and nits .but now placement condition is getting better for students .companies are coming.

College Events

College mainly celebrates events like techfest, last year it was madhuram, convocations,and many sports events like cricket tournament . Car race tournament for this students make their own sport car and went for race in other colleges.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very good for this I will gave 10 out of 10 it is a well maintained government college. Fees is negligible also different scholarships available like post matrix scholarship etc.

I don't know much about this because I haven't filled any scholarship form in this college. I know about post matrix scholarship and backward caste scholarship.

Campus Life

Campus is very good fully WiFi, full natural atmosphere in this campus lots of tree are here and different types of birds are also found . Workshop is one of the biggest workshop in India.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel and mess facilities is good but not very good but you can't complain about all these because the cost of hostel and mess is very much affordable.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very supportive. They never tries to interrupt me in my 2 year of college experience. In fact they help me many of time. All the senior are of very friendly nature.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is very good mainly two minor and a major examination held in a particular semester. Minor mainly of 20 marks and major of 50 marks at the time of major examination lab exam is also held.

I applied for several colleges and got selected for IIFPT Thanjavur and GGU Bilaspur but I wanted to study mechanical engineering and out of all options, this college was best known for its mechanical engineering course and lab facilities. I applied in sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology in first seven round but I got electronic engineering which I didn't want, so I waited for special round and then I got Computer science. I am in general so I didn't get any quota for admission but obc and sc st have quota in the college. To get into sant Longowal institute of engineering and technology, you have to give entrance exam and the cut off of the college generally goes around 130-140 for general category.
