It was a entrance throughout india which was conducted by cipet chennai, cleared that entrance to get a seat there. Opted this course to increase job opportunity after doing diploma from polytechnic.

Curriculum includes plastic processing, plastic materials, mould design, tool room training etc and there was some practical sessions and computer course we did from out side.

No company came for design students. So we were bound to search our job by ourselves. Also there was no internship training after completing course. There was no stipend for students of general catageory.

No scholarship offered and no loan facility was there to facilitate students at that time. We have done course by spending our own money.

There was no extra curricular activities like this. There was only one or two game for the whole students. Molding section was there but practical sessions was not regular because it was a costly affair to start molding machine.

Faculty was moderate and design lab was in old pattern, there was no computer to work. So we were practicing on drawing board/ charts. Some faculty members was from reservation category so they were not as per standard.
