Likes
- I liked my college library which is fully digital and well equipped.
- I like the area outside library, which is covered with trees and regulate temperature in every weather
- I like my classes which are well furnished and AC equipped.
Dislikes
- I didnt like washrooms which are very unhygienic and almost everytime dirty
- I didnt like the lack of availability of lifts in my college. And which are available students arent allowed to use it.
- I didnt like gcr, ie, girls common roon for its foul smell and lack of facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum is under NEP, which was previously CBCS. The curriculum is effective and practical. It made possible to link academics to real practical life knowledge. But it overburden students with unnecessary 7 subjects, especially AEC and VAC. SEC is somehow good but it has a drawback as well. The college don't offer good subjects under SEC, and even if it does students running after marks would choose easy subject over a good one.
Placement Experience
The placement starts from the third year. The various companies visit the college with different packages and recruit several students . The highest package reach to 25LPA+ and average package is 6-7LPA. The CGPA required is 7.5+ to sit for placements. The procedure could have been explained to students prior would be good otherwise it's like confusing.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is averagely 24000 per year in my college which differ for every college in DU, which is wrong. When we are getting same degree irrespective of college, then fees should be one as well. If the fees is according to college reputation or facilities, then please provide degree under du as well college. The scholarship by DU isn't provided but it accepts other scholarship programme. The campus employment provide good opportunity to students to earn.
Campus Life
The college experience till now is great. With a good student crowd and north campus vibe, the life becomes better to experience. The annual fests of every college is dreamy and great, my college fest name is CONFLUENCE. The facilities of college is top notch. I could have liked the college more if it would have provided swimming pool, as there is no provision for swimming students.
Admission
We were the first batch to give cuet for DU. CUET was fine yet uncertain with its normalization score. NTA could have been way more better. The cutoff score my college must be from 770/800. The exam dates were different and hectic as centre away from city disturbed the Mental Health after boards of students.
Faculty
The faculty of hansraj is best. The teachers are well educated with their doctorates. They balance a class of 100 easily. They maintain a friendly relationship and keep updated the students with recent trends and career options. They are 24/7 available to attend us either physically or online.
