- I liked the campus atmosphere in here and the vibe
- Curriculum is good starting from first year
- The new curriculum gives an opportunity to dive straight into the course we opted
Dislikes
- Teaching of some professors are so bad that we doubt if they have enough knowledge of the things they teach
- No fest or any other programs have been conducted since last year , really disappointed.
- No stable wifi in the hostel which makes things really hard to study from our room .not enough space for the hostellers to study from common room.
Course Curriculum Overview
Last year onwards they changed the curriculum and instead of studying unwanted things for each course , this year we dive straight into the core subjects which according to me is a good thing. Exams and test are all conducted regularly too.
Internships Opportunities
For that I don't know much But with a good cgpa we can get pretty good intership oppertunity from 3rd year onwards. We will get to work under many companies if are eligible . Otherwise we will have pay and do the internship. Anyways it is compulsory to do internshio in third year.
Placement Experience
Placements are offered in nitc . More students get placed for Computer science and followed by electronic communication and EEE. But other course it's hard to get placed in the core subjects we study and mostly get placed to it field
Fees and Financial Aid
For general the fee structure is too high that is approx 125000 per year without including hostel fees. But we can really on scholar ships and to say there are enough scholarships proving here . Hostel fees are comparatively good and the facilities provided are okay
Campus Life
There are lot of books provided in the library .there are enough facilities in our class rooms . Many clubs are there and they have been conducting many activities. Sports also , there are a huge number of sports being played here
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are good . Wifi connections are poor though which make it difficult for us to study from our room. And there is no enough facilities in the comon room from where we can study other than our room. Food here is pretty good . Proving North and South Indian cuisine for vegetarians and non vegetarians
Admission
Cutoff for general is pretty hing around 95 percentile For sc /st reservation is available and for then the cutoff is 55/49 percentile. Computer science is more demanded course followed by EC and EEE . For this course we need a percentile of 98-100 percentile
Faculty
Some faculties are really good. That we can find from the way they teach .From this good thing can be easy covered by the other faculties which I don't know why they come because they teach like they know nothing and even if they know (obviously they know) but their way of teaching sucks.
