RCCIIT in a nutshell

The course curriculum provided by the university includes the basics and core which is really needed to be a good engineer. The curriculum teaches real world applications from the very basic to advance level and explains how to build anything from scratch. But there are many courses in the curriculum which are not that necessary and teaching methods of the curriculum is not relevant and not precise. There are 4 internal exams for theory papers and 2 internal exams for practical papers are being counducted on a gap of a month. There is not any increase of difficulty as the 4 internal exams of theory papers contains different types of evaluation and examination method. After that end semesters are being conducted which is the most difficult one.

A lot of people gets good internships from college and also get good jobs. From 2nd year, college tries to give internships to students which is needed for experience and skill development. College clubs and faculty also helps to improve skills to get good internships.

The students currently studying on thier 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant,Infosys etc visits in campus placements giving a average of 40 to 50 offers. The average package is 6 lpa (may varry according to the particular data) and the highest package for 2022 graduates was 13 lpa. The percentage of students' placement is around 80 to 85. My plans are to get a job after getting the degree and persue M.Tech to learn more.

Tuition fees increases annally here. when I was admittted in 2022, the first year fees was 447900 for four years but in 2023 that was 604300 for four years. It costs me 447900 in total having tuition fees of 365200 and other charges of 82700. There are all goverment and private scholarship available and based on eligibility you can avail that. Among those svmcm is the most famous one which covers 60000 rupees per year(for students of west bengal). you can also avail education loan like student credit card (For students of west bengal). As I am in 2nd year currently, I could not have taken any kind of campus employments

The annual technical festival of college is techtrix which typically helds on the month of april every year. The library is very much accessible to students from taking books on loan to study in the library. There is a huge amount of books and journals in the library, the staffs are so helpful. Classrooms contains projectors to present ppts and pdfs while some rooms contain smart boards also. Sports and other extracurricular activities are pretty much appreciated and for that many events are organised inclluding the annual sports tournament named game of thrones. There are many clubs like art club, tech club etc run by students which helps students to improve their skills and personality.

One can take admission here through WBJEE or JEE MAIN. The eligibility is you have to be 10+2 passed and you have to appear on minimum one f the entrances mentioned above. After counselling if one is shortlisted, he or she have to go to the college to take admission. The application form will be fillled by management,they just have to submit the required documents as per the instructions of the management.There are 4 internal exams of theory paper with 4 different exam methods conducted on the gap of a month containing same level of difficulty and 2 internal exams of practical exams are conducted with same level of difficulty on a gap of or 3 months and after internals, end semester exams are conducted containing the highest difficulty. The admission process takes too much time and for ease of that it can be automated through complete online application and authentication can be done and verified from the backend to check if the student is shortlisted in the counselling or not

The faculty-to-student ratio is really good here and for this more attention is given to a student by a particular faculty which helps them to grow faster. The faculty's credentials are given in the college website and one can also get it from the class representative. To approach them, one can call,messege or mail them or can directly meet them at their faculty room for teaching and internship. I interact with the teachers very often, almost 3 times a week and as per my requirement I messege them, call them or meet them personally.
