Likes

Lush Green Campus having a peace atmosphere to study and innovate
The electronic infrastructure is very nice ,so many options are given to students
Several clubs and centre of excellences are provided to be a part of

Dislikes

Way too far from the city, travelling to the college is a big task
We need to pay for the vehicle parking which is very expensive
Lab assistants are not good at their subjects also

There are electives options in the curriculum which helps students to choose what they like otherwise also the college is a autonomous institution affiliated to VTU , so 40% of the syllabus keeps changing every year according to the market

Fees and Financial Aid

Compared to alll collages this collage is cheap in terms of fees n all , the bus transportation is pretty affordable,but as it is in Banglore the inflations hits even the shops present inside the campus ,my fees is 92000 as I got through KCET other wise for Ece the management fee is 3.5Lakh per year

Campus Life

1) Anaadhyantha and Geekmehyam are the cultural and technical national level fest organised by the college every year ,which is actually very very successfull and fun,singers like Arman Malik ,Darshan Raval , Sacheth Tadon etc have sung in the prg 2) the library is huge and gives access to all kinds of books 3)all classrooms have projectors to teach with PPTs 4) several opportunities for extracurricular activity is provided and there are over 20-25 clubs in the 5)clubs like the E-Cell , NSS ,X factor ,Music club ,Dance club , Fashion Team and so on

Admission

I got in through the Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET and my rank was about 12k and I got the seat in the very first round , I would have got other clgs ,but I choose it a lil sooner ,but I don't regret it , normal exams are not very easy not very thought, for the admission process they can just go to the website

In terms of teachers ,for every 10-15 students a separate mentor is giving who always needs to give permissions for any sort of activity of that student ,the class is of 64 and one teacher handles it so not that effective ,but for those who want to learn a very great place as it is open for so many more activities for a students future

RNSIT : Best college for students

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is very active in our college. Every year more than 30+ companies come to our college for recruitment . Our seniors from 7th semester get placed in many companies and before getting placed in the company our college offers internships to every student. Around 80 % of the students get placed in companies and work efficiently. The average package for civil engineering is 2.5 lakh per annum.

My College Review

Placement Experience:

RIT's placement scenario is very good, even for the most unpopular branches such as Civil Engineering. Starting from the 7th semester, students are allowed to participate in campus recruitment, and companies come to the campus for the entire final year. The major recruiting companies are L&T Construction, Shapoorji Pallonji, Brigade Group, Sobha Developers, Atkins, PWD, and Infosys for the non-core sector. Civil students on an average get ?5–6 LPA as salary, and the highest offer is usually in the range of ?12–15 LPA, depending on the company and the position. Almost 70–80% of Civil students are placed, while some of them go for higher studies or government examination.Site engineer, design engineer, planning engineer, survey engineer, and trainee engineer are the core positions that are offered. Also, non-traditional roles in IT and consulting can be taken up by those who are not interested in core engineering profiles.I will first acquire some work experience in the industry after completing my degree and then will pursue a master's degree in structural engineering to gain further specialization.

Great college with poor placement

Placement Experience:

Placements are the only bad thing about the college . Average ctc is only 4 lakhs per annum and only handful of students get actual placement.and rest get placed in either call center or training companies

Over all IIT Dharwad is good not bad

Placement Experience:

Actually imnin 1st semester so I aks from seniors so they told me highest PKG of cs branch is 86LPA and machenical is 60 LPA they are off campus package and in campus 57 LPA for cse and they also give minor degree courses for placement chance is increased in cs branch 93 % students placed 125 compony visited in college in 2024-25 I plan I get job after b tech if I don't placed in campus so i tried EAE examination.

Honest review from a student who doesn't hate his college but at the same know there are multiple places for improvement

Placement Experience:

Students become elegible for placements from 7th sem onwards but we are encouraged to do internship before final itself. Most of the companies that come here aren't t1 or even t2. Highest probably would be 12L only if the student is exceptional but most would secure a package 4-6. And the percentage of students getting placed is <50%

Placement Experience:

i have 100 percent confidence on myself and the college placement .because it has 95 percent placement in it sector.the students are eligible from 5 or 6 th semester as of there.there are one of good companies who visit our college like amazon, tata, microsoft some years ago google also visited they tries to contact and give placements to students.it has 33 lakh highest and the median is good enough as 12 lakh anually.
