Course Curriculum Overview

4

This subject is good for studing about our society and also easy for the preparation of upsc civil services examination. This curriculum prepares us for real world application as it gives us knowledge about the society. The primitive areas required improvement for the course curriculum. The exams are not that much of difficult if you work hard then you can score good marks.

Internships Opportunities

Intership opportunity are less because there is no free opportunity in intership. We have to paid first and then proceed so it may get little different and difficult to purchase the course. The intership opportunities are in very low prices. Name like younity

The curriculum is very broad and relevant, it covers both theory and practical aspects of the subject. It is very nice to prepare for further higher studies, though more real-world cast studies and interactive teaching.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant to the current aspects of real world. It is also very focused on the practical component of the subject and helps us know how to apply our theoretical concepts in real life. Aspects that influenced me were: the practicality, the relatibiltiy of concepts and the testing approaches as well.

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
