Course Curriculum Overview

As i am doing first yesr i dont have much knowledge on this thing but i can assure you that i have chosen this college based on its history and placement offers through out these years. Monthly one exam are conducted and this result is taken as internal mark.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Placement Experience

More than 200 companies participated in the campus placement last year and offer about 2200 jobs allaround. Highest package offered duting 2023 was 33 LPA. KPMG,adobe , capgimini and other several leading companies participated.

Fees and Financial Aid

It is a government college so i takes only nearly 10000 rupees as a yearly college fees. All type of private and government scholarships are provided and accepted by our college. The hostel fees is around 6000 with good food.

Campus Life

cet is one of the best technical college in sounth india itself more over it is government.the best things is the freedom it gives you. It has the best faculties and the infrastructure is advancing yesr by year.all type of facilities is present here

Hostel Facilities

I am staying here in a private hostel. As i could not get the college hostel due to high demands . It is provided to people with less benifits and all. The fees is around 6000 with food. The food is not bad. It provide 3 times non veg a week.the hostel iam staying is so close to the college itself and there are a number of private accommodation.

Admission

12th board examination is the eligibility of the course. I have repeated a year to prepare for keam examination in which a have a good rank so i got admission in one of the best colleges. As i have chosen minority reservations but i have goten admission in general qots itself.

Faculty

Faculty present in this college are those who have high qualifications and skills , as it is the best college in this state and more over its a government college. So the faculty present must be highly skilled and examination are there for their allotment. Professors are so friendly and kind hearted, helps us in all possible ways

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for sitting for a college placement during 4th year that is 7th semester onwards .Many companies will visit our colleges and so many students get placed through campus placement. The companies will provide a package of about 400000 per annum .Almost 80 percentage students will get placed after completing the course. My plan is to appear for placement interviews and also i have a plan to do MBA

A look inside Sct - Campus life, Academics and more

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placement from the 6th semester onwards. But most of the placement companies that visit are tech/software companies. There are very few core companies that are visiting currently. Out of the few core companies that do visit the highest package is probably offered by Tata Elxsi with a package of 7-8 lakhs per annum. But the placement stats for Cs/ Aiml is very good with lots of placement as well as high ctc. But out those placed most are placed with package ranges from 3-4 lakhs per annum. My current plan is for higher studies after graduation. I want to specialise in the field of vlsi design. But if possible I would want to work in s core company for around 2-3 years to build up experience.

Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
