Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good. We will be having six semesters with six semester exams. Both practical and theory exams are conducted along with strict valuation of internals. Internal exams also include practical and theory sessions.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships offers are provided to students those who opted for courses that requires compulsory internships. Students can choose the companies or firms in which they want to work. They can complete their internships from the companies which selected them.
Placement Experience :
Campus placements interviews are conducted during the third or the final year of the course . Students with good academic excellence and those who perform well in the interviews are selected. An average of 100 students are selected each year
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
BSc Botany comes under the aided courses offered by our college and thus it is very affordable. The Scholarships are given for students who needs assistance in financial matters . Scholarships are not only given but also renewed.
Campus Life :
CMS college supports extracurricular activities in all fields. Sports, arts, academics, etc. The Club activities are conducted. Each department have clubs and they have total freedom to conduct their own club activities.
Hostel Facilities :
College hostel is near to the college with a walkable distance with affordable fee structure. Food quality and the room quality should be appreciated. The Registration for the hostel facilities can be done along with the college admission.
Admission :
A minimum of 50 percentage marks scored in plus two in each subject are required for the application and the cut off is based on the merit score. Three allotments leads to the final selected list of applicants .
Faculty :
The head of the department was great in teaching and mentoring. We can contact our class warden in case of any need and assistance. We also have a great faculty in the botany department. The non teaching staffs should also be appreciated for their efforts and helps.
