Likes

The college provides a good library and classrooms.
Various scholarship benefits are provided to the students.
The highest package offered was around 6-7LPA and lowest package was around 3.8LPA.

Dislikes

Mess food is average i dont like it much but its the problem of every hostel mess.
College is bit far from city though we have bus facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose computer engineering cause I had a kee interest in coding so I decided to choose this branch. All the faculty are very friendly and extremely patient with students, always there to solve student doubts.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 13081 per year

Internships Opportunities

College provides internship opportunities like intel, DRDO etc. Many opportunities like online and offline modes are provided. Through internship projects, one gets to improve technical knowledge. Students opt for virtual internship where they build projects and learn new technologies.

Placement Experience

College provides very good placement opportunities. For full time rol students of 7th semesters are eligible and from 5th semester or 3rd semesters, students become eligible for internships. Highest package was around 24 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

MKSSS provides a lot of benefits for women's education , there are reservation benefits for SC ,ST and OBC categories. I am an SC student granted with samaj kalyan scholarship and Mahadbt scholarship.

Campus Life

College provides a decent library that is accessible to all students. Several fest organized around the year to engage students and bring out the creativeness. Cultural events like ANANYA and Umang are highlights. Sports event i.e Damini also takes place where many students participate in various kinds of sports.

Hostel Facilities

Regestration process for Hostel is very easy , it is quite affordable too. Hostel rooms are bit conjested as there are 4 people in one room and very less storage space. Mess food is average, just like any other hostel mess.

Hostel Fee: INR 19050 per year

Admission

The admission process was good, you acn take the admission through the CAP round or directly on the basis of your JEE main score. The cutoff varies on the basis of the branch and the seats available on the college website or you can directly contact the institute.

Faculty

All teachers are supportive and knowledgeable. Mentorship is provided by faculty members to students for projects. Industrial visits are arranged for students. Timely exams and practicals are conducted.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Good Placements!! (That is all what matters right?)

I didn't take any entrance exams. My admission was purely on the basis of my JEE MAIN score. Cut-off varies according to the branch, and it is different every year. I found out about this institute through my uncle, who is an employee of TATA CUMMINS INDIA LTD.
