Yes that is difficult for me because I am completely diploma on computer technology but some issues I have choose mechanical engineering i don't know about more on that course but I heard that 5he requirements about that course on female category so I have choose mechanical engineering

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 16000 fees in college for admission and I paid 47 000 for hostel I have maha dbt scholarship they a 3000 at my hands per year but other scholarship are not applied by me because I have dsy student and dates of other scholarship are gone when my admission in college

Campus Life

In my campus are very high every student get the opportunity for campus huge company visit our college and give the job opportunities i am don't participate in any club but they are many clubs in my college like asap IEEE etc

Hostel Facilities

We are 4 student love in one room in hostel and that is quite conjusted some time meal are good but some time meal are very bad we can't eat it quality are good in meal but some time they are not good

Hostel Fee: INR 47000 per year

Admission

I am dsy student and cut off is very high my agrigate is 77 but I can't admission in that college and course I don't get it i applied for cap round but I don't gate that college and course that I want that's why I directly do the admission in Cummins college I fill the admission form and paid the fees and gate the admission

Faculty

Faculty are very helpful they sort out our dout they encourage us lot they provide that things that develop our skills they prepare us for interview they help us lot they can develop our communication skills and other skills also they help us on project that we want to do it

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. The admission process was good, you can take the admission through the CAP round or directly on the basis of your JEE Main score. The cutoff varies on the basis of the branch and the seats available. The application form and all the information regarding fees and dates are available on the college website or you can directly contact the institute. Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samastha provides a lot of benefits for women's education, there are reservation benefits for SC, ST and OBC categories. General Category students can also avail many benefits through various Scholarships. Good Placements!! (That is all what matters right?)

I didn't take any entrance exams. My admission was purely on the basis of my JEE MAIN score. Cut-off varies according to the branch, and it is different every year. I found out about this institute through my uncle, who is an employee of TATA CUMMINS INDIA LTD. College gives numerous reservation benefits and scholarships to students but sadly, I didn't receive any :( The admission process should be digitalized so that it would be convenient for people who are from different states or cities because the admission process takes a lot of days to get completed....Read More
