- The collage isn't far from the city ,easy to travel through local The campus needs a bit improvement. The collage canteen also needs improvement.The college hostal is average and needs improvement.
- The campus isn't too huge but has all the basic amenities and infrastructure.They also have a decent approach towards providing help towards placement and training .
- The faculty's expertise in teaching and mentorship is rather good compared to other collages .The teachers provide valuable advice and frequent check-ins about academics and personal skills development.
Dislikes
- The collage doesn't have direct metro connections.
- The campus' some parts has been under construction from more than a year and the construction obstructs the sports practices inside the campus.
- The collage needs development in infrastructure,but the improvement has been started recently which is a good news.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have an interest in electronics , hence I chose this course . I feel the curriculum is not up to date or up to the level of today's technical development but the curriculum is set by the university (VTU) and not the collage so changes must be made by the university. The curriculum contains many outdated topics which are not used from few years in the industry . The exams are set considering an average student and sometimes are difficult to score but passing grade can be scored easily .
Internships Opportunities
Internships can be joined through either outside referrals or through the collage . I'm still in my second year of college education and don't have a clear idea about internship activities of my college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The collage provides seats based on Management and also on competative exams like KCET and COMEDK . Through KCET ,two types of seats are available - government aided and non-aided . The government aided seats cost less about half the price of nin aided seats . The management seat's fee varies depending on the year of admission . COMEDK fees is as per the COMEDK board.
Campus Life
The annual cultural festival is called Sanskruthi which is held once a year in the evening semester between months of June to September. The collage has a well organised library with wide range of availability in books , journels etc . There are smart classrooms equipped with large screen monitors and other facilities. Student clubs for motosports , art and cinema , technical clubs are also available and free to join.
Admission
I got the seat through KCET exam . My ranking was around 46k and got an electronics and telecommunication engineering seat in my first road of KCET counseling. Information regarding KCET is available at its official website. It has reservations and fee concessions for categories based on caste .
Faculty
The faculty have the required skills needed to teach the students but the collage lacks in providing facilities in practical labs .Interactions between teachers can be done freely and they try their best to solve our queries . The faculty has sufficient knowledge about their subjects and provide guidance about how to study and learn the syllabus. Although some faculty are too good and are very cooperative.
