Likes

The campus life in Nehru was very goood and quite enjoyable
Faculties were all friendly and helpful . They guide students very well
The teaching staffs are all well qualified

Dislikes

There literally zero or no internships available for the students
Sometime there will be influence of various political student organisations in unnecessary things
Infrastructure of the college needs to be improved a little more

Course Curriculum Overview

As the subject polymer chemistry has scope in present as well as in future , it is a good course to get a degree in. The curriculum is a bit difficult but teachers will help us to overcome the difficulties.Various lab experiments were conducted and make us sufficient in lab as well

Class Size: 29Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are management seats available which will costs about 100k . Merit seats are free and will only obtain fees for exams and other extracurricular activities. Scholarship are available on different criterias.

Campus Life

The campus life from Nehru was too good .they support us in studies as well as other extracurricular activities. Various sports teams are there for our college and in arts fests we used to be the top 3 in the whole university.

Admission

We should apply online on Kannur university website.It will start admission procedures from late may and seats are reserved on the basis of marks obtained.Also there will be admission cells opened in college where they'll help us for the procedures

Faculty

Faculty members are all well qualified as most of them holds doctoral degrees from reputed universities. There are enough teachers for students in the class and they all helped us really well in every aspects of academics.Also they're friendly and supportive

Placement Experience:

The college has a well functioning placement assistance. There are various companies including banks and Tech based companies which arrives in the college for placements every year. The placement assistant cell prepare students very well for the placements.They grooms the students and prepares them for aptitude test, interviews and group discussions which are required for placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. Exams are semester wise and they are easy and easily prepared within short period of time

I chose this college because this is the college that I got when I applied for admission. When compared to other colleges this college is far behind. In the recent NAAC visit, the college was granted only an A grade while the nearby colleges were granted an A+. The admission to this college is by two ways. College should provide internship opportunities for arts students as well.

There was no entrance exams to get into college. The students have to register in kannur University website and apply for the college's coming under the kannur University. Students can choose upto 10 colleges they would like to take admission into. The students should prioritise their top priority. And during allotment the students get admitted to various college of their choices. If the students met the cut off that the college has decided then they would make it to their top prioritised college. There is usually 5 allotments. The cut off will be based on your marks scored in ug programme. The eligibility of course is Bcom degree. The application process and allotment of seats are made through online. Resevation are availed to categories and some seats are reseved physically handicapped, sports persons etc. It is a centralised process so time consuming.
