The campus is a bit small and has less space for organising events
The budget provided for events is less which requires to get sponsors from outside
Placement opportunities are less which creates issues in getting certification

Course Curriculum Overview

The reason for choosing this course is simply for the practical knowledge and that this course does help in gaining real world experience with many in campus and off campus events and internships . There could be a bit improvement in the teaching techniques. There are 2 exams that take place each semester- mid term and end terms .

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 85000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is 85000 per semester and the scholarship opportunities are plenty depending on your merit and even on your financial condition. Campus employment is available if the student has immense credits and experience that is required for the post .

Campus Life

There are many events that take place in the campus like global literary festival, global film festival etc and even many workshops that take place , movie / web series promotions, festival related events etc . The technology is great where there is a projector in every class , a recording room , screening room . Amphitheater etc . There is an annual sports league between the different departments. There are clubs like social work club , mental health awareness club , event club etc .

Admission

The eligibility of the course is to have above 50% marks in your 12 boards then there is a PI which includes general questions and questions regarding the course. There is no reservation policy as such . There is also a campus tour given if needed

If there are 60 students in one batch then there are 6 faculty mementos excluding the HOD . The faculty is very knowledgeable in their specific areas which provides great practical and theoretical insight. The faculty is also very understanding and easy to interact with and they are available if any issue arises,

It is very easy for me to take decision to choose this course because in other universities i failed in pratical examination,and that is why I have to take admission in this university .The curriculum preparation is only needed to be 2-3 mouth only,The areas for improvement in the is faculty members should change, instuments should be repaired,and one auditorium should be there, teachers should be try to get better from students.The frequency and timing of exam is perfect,ther announced there examination date before 2 mouth,the level of exam is moderate

I'm currently persuing BA(hons) Geography from Faculty of Arts. I had interest in geography since class 10. Therefore, I chosen this course. Economics Honours at Amity University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Wonderful Teaching Environment

Remarks:

There are many positives I have already talked about. The only negative thing I feel about my college is that the activities are not conducted in smooth manner always, many times there is ruckus created in the event so I suppose Faculty should manage it little better to avoid any trouble.

This is good government college in the Lucknow.

Remarks:

There is campus is free from raging and there are big playgrounds . The toilet system of the college is very good. The campus is free from raging with good library and computer lab. The teachers of the college are cooperative and supportive. There is proper playground and sports activities are celebrating yearly.

I didn't applied for many other colleges nor did I visit I searched on google as top best College for media it showed. But it came to my disappointment that it's not true. Taking admission in this college was completely a coincidence as i had been selected to candian film school due to some passport issues couldn't go there so had to choose a college near delhi until i could resolve the issue and this was the only one i could find, admission process was a bit tedious all they wanted me to was give them money and then its done nothing much really happened in terms of introduction or faculty meet they just let me in and after few months i had issue with documents because they didn't took any....Read More
