Aaft school of hospitality and tourism review

Likes

Infrastructure, mentor, faculty members, way of teaching
Quality of education being given there that is best in class
Placements given by them are at very nice places

Dislikes

Meals and uniform not included in the fees
Less holidays being given in the calendar year

AAFT is decent for a Music Student

Likes

The classrooms are so good and comfortable.
Campus life is so cool amd modern also they heve good canteen.
Faculty are so good they are so punctual and helpful

Dislikes

I don't like the class timings of the class.
There are so many things to improve in the campus
Need improvement in washrooms and class sitting places

There are some placements college offers 1. We start getting placements after 6 semester. 2. Companies like Zee music red FM and so many recording studio provides placement in college. 3. Percentage of students getting placements is average 75%

Had a mix experience

Likes

Firstly it would be yes the opportunities that we get while studying
We don't have much of a campus life because being in this field all what we've to focus is on ourselves and our degree work but the way we can enhance our campus on events by ourselves
Not exaggerating but yes the faculty do listens and is coperative a lot

Dislikes

I feel like what we need is a little more space in our campus
I guess it's the workload which is high as at times we do have sleepless nights while doing assignment

Placement Experience:

Our college do have placements And it starts from the last semester in which we are be it 6th sem or the 8th sem But we do get small internships as well And companies like zara h n m do visit us And the average package that I know last year was 3 lakh per annum and highest was 7 lakh And yes if you're portfolio is good a good amount of people gets placement My plan after my bachelor would be to get a good placement and then do masters

Likes

I like some of my senior they are very polite and always their for hrlp
Mess food is good and hygienic mess wale bhaiya is soo nyce
Teacher are soo helpfull call in night they will answer tho

Dislikes

I dislike the area of college like college is soo small to call it college
One person leaving one person outside the college is smoking
Sleep cycle will be disturbed due to lot of work

Placement Experience:

Placement are really good in college I have many of my senior even I have my sir who passed out in 2015 work in different radio station and after it niw he opened his own radio station so placement Nd everything is good

Myself having the vibe in the class and canteen
Food and people classes are well maintenance thing's
Teachers are really nice and very helpful

Dislikes

Some kids are being gansta cool thinks they're really good
Kids thinks they fight anyone and get away with it
Some teachers weren't good so they kicked em out

Seee the curriculum are really good and we have sport's day also having a fest in college so about on that it's sexy af all i love bout college but the thing it's divided in sections 4 sections have different fest in a month and we can't join another section fest so we have to class so we can't normally focus on study cause someone else is having fun

Aaft demerits and faculty response

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is good
The college has it’s own separate library
The college has it’s own canteen and a bakery

Dislikes

The college does not have any open space for sports
Faculty is rude and inexperienced as they took my things which were allowed in the campus and the class was not going on and there was a function in the college
The subject quality is not up to mark according to their claims as they will lie to you to get admission

Event management seemed interesting but it's more work and less pay on every post The college did not provide any intenships or work so we had to do it on our own The college claims to give more practical learning and that's a lie they do not care about practical they just care about passing in the exams and attendance

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is getting improved day by day.
Proper equipments for teaching purposes are also provided.
Library with books of our courses to gain knowledge

Dislikes

Knowledge wise as well and teaching wise low quality
No practical experiences at all for a course which needs practical Training. All they care about is attendance.
No internships provided by the college. No scholarships provided. Placement opportunities are next to nil.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the mentor that told me about the course told many details about and benefits of the course but it's been 1 complete year and half an year but I don't see any of the promises made so true. The curriculum doesn't prepare you for the real world no practical Training at all. No internships provided

The reality of aaft

Likes

Teachers are good experienced and have a great communication skill
The labs are awesome and great desktop configuration
The infrastructure is to good not that big but all good

Dislikes

Some teachers don't have that good teaching experience
The placement cell is not that good placement are average
The culture of college is okh but sometimes is uncomfortable for the middle class student

College life at AAFT

Likes

College has a good infrastructure as it is a small building there’s not much to explore but what they have is pretty good improvement needed is in department of fests and social activities for students
Has cafes and canteens with good and fresh food
Faculty is awesome and there for you always

Dislikes

No social interaction or opportunities for activities
Cultural departments are non existent doesnt do anything
There are no societies for students to take part in

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses curriculum is a bit outdated even thought they tey to teach us practically about our subjects and softwares we do have to give a written exam which declines our learning ability in terms of usage of programmes and software .
