Course Curriculum Overview

3

Courses curriculum is a bit outdated even thought they tey to teach us practically about our subjects and softwares we do have to give a written exam which declines our learning ability in terms of usage of programmes and software .

Fees and Financial Aid

You have to pay fees semester wise ie. Every six months, fees is 5 Lakhs and does include everything and is same for everyone regardless of thier social economic categories the scholarships available doesn't really add up that much its about 10 thousand rupees which doesn't even put in a dent on actual amount.

Campus Life

1

Overall campus experience is not good there's no ground no societies no fests or events all they do is some seminars they might invite some random australian guy who you have never heard of and call it a photogenic fest in reality nothing really happens students get no chance to socialise with each other even in the classrooms

Admission

Taking admission in this college was completely a coincidence as i had been selected to candian film school due to some passport issues couldn't go there so had to choose a college near delhi until i could resolve the issue and this was the only one i could find, admission process was a bit tedious all they wanted me to was give them money and then its done nothing much really happened in terms of introduction or faculty meet they just let me in and after few months i had issue with documents because they didn't took any.

Faculty

3

The college has pretty low students to faculty ratio if there's one faculty missing the whole branch gets on hauled for several days also there are two major exam one is mid semester and one is final .

I guess after 3 semester, college give you intership not placement. When i have cleared my 3 rd semester college give yash raj studios intership of 25k per month in pune or Mumbai. But if you want to get placement you have to fulfill the criteria of the college like you have to cleared 5 th sem and make portfolio and talk to placement cell then they give you a variety of placement options.

The placement according to our seniors are decent, not awesome. The average is around 3-3.5Lpa . Yes there are some students that are exceptional and get 10+Lpa package but you need to be 1 in a 100 thousand for that.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are average. The maximum package was 50 lacs recently. A few companies that visit for placement are Amazon, Flipkart, MTX, Adobe, Cisco, Accenture, Airtel, etc. The average package can be 5 lacs. Amity also provides foreign exchange summer programs every year during summer break. The placement rate is high enough to 70%. My plans after graduation are to do post-graduation in animation in European countries.
