NIT KKR Overview

I am very much into technology specially coding and the coding environment at nit kurukshetra is very good . I chose Information Technology branch and its curriculum is very good in my first year of my B.tech only we learned 3 programming languages which include python,c,html and css and java script. Apart from academics we do projects also which are actually based on real world application.course curriculum could be improved by in adding such activities which increases the students involvement. For eg group project etc.. exams frequency and difficulty is quite good according to me.

well there are many companies that offer internships here such as microsoft , google ,etc and some govt based organisations such as ISRO and DRDO also provide internships here.To be honest i dont know much more about it . I am really sorry for that.

Final year students are eligible for campus placements . Various top companies like samsung amazon google etc visit here and make good offers with whopping salaries. Highest package this year was 1.25 cr pa and lowest was 4 lpa. More than 75% of students get placed here. my plans are to continue my masters abroad.

the total fees per semester of nit kkr includes tution fees hostel fees and mess fees . My tution fees per semester is 62500, medical 900 , hoste; fees is 10000 . So including this and other services fees the total per semester fees of nit kkr is 115100. i have joined many societies and clubs in the campus including antariksh which is the astronomy club of the institute .

the annual fest here is called confluence which is held in october month and techfest is called techsparda which is held is january each month.books are available of all genre and in wide range.there are smart tvs and 3 acs in each classroom. a sports fest is held each year and there are many sports available there. there are societies such as rooh ,shiksha and nss which do social services and also financially help poor people.

in a single room of my girls hostel i have been provided with a study table , 2 chairs and a bed and an almirah . Mess menu is slightly above average but mess meal quality is not upto the marks. there is not such process we are given hostels randomly after admission is done and the hostels are quite affordable according to me .

To get into nit kkr i had to clear jee mains exam. Its cutoff to get into nitkkr for general category was 90 percentiile> Foe the admission we have to sit in an online counselling by josaa where we select are wanting colleges acc to our marks and then the college and branch are alloted to us. Jee mains are conducted in jan and april each year and on the basis of difficulty level i think they are medium . Admission process can be improved by improving josaa counsellingand maklng it more clear.

The faculty at nit kurukshetra is quite good . Our professors and assistant professors are very qualified and experienced. Even the new ones teach very well and treat us very good. They all are very effective and teach by taking all students together which means they start from very basic. The faculty to student ratio is quite ok teachers here are very cooperative they help with each and every doubt of every single student. Our teachers are super interactive also.
