My views on college

Dislikes

  • No punctuality.any event will start late and ends late

Course Curriculum Overview :

I always wanted to be in IT Sector.it is actually good to know the fundamentals of computer architecture such things.but it may not be relevant in job sector. In my opinion, curriculum doesn't actually helps well you to job sector.Since curriculum or syllabus is prepared by university, faculties has nothing to do with that.Every semester is tight.it only lasts 3 months.Internal exams timing is actually not that good since we have 2 exams daily.that increases difficulty.students aren't able to cover all portions for 2 exams in a day without gap between exams.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are available based on Rank of Kerala Engineering entrance exam (KEAM) since i had rank below 15000 i got scholarship.i got concession in my tuition fee.i got around 30000 off in my tuition fee.my tution fee with scholarship for merit seat is 60000. There is also scholarship for students having rank below 10000 in KEAM

Campus Life :

Brahma is the techo cultural fest of our college.it is usually held in the months of february and march.and it is an unforgettable experience in the entire college life.Library has a lot of books for academic help. And contains only small amount of general books.Labs and classrooms are good.Sports is not that much good.we have khabadi ,basketball teams also.Clubs include GDSC, Tinkerhub, CSI, IEEE, GDC,etc

Admission :

Cut off is around 15000 as far of my knowledge.i got about 12000 rank in kerala engineering entrance exam.i got this college in both first and second allotment.admission process lasted few hours and was simple.i had to submit some documents along with fee for first year.Reservation is available for SC,STs.

Faculty :

Teachers are actually growing together with us.They haven't ended their education.they are learning different things on side.that is actually motivating us students to work hard.Faculties are friendly but we are not that much close with them.As we are running short in classes essential thing is to take classes instead of friendly talks.Almost 90? of portions will be taken before exams

The Semester exams are tough. Electronics and biomedical engineering is a growing field that offers high chances to students in the future. I like how technology and medicine are totally different and we can join this way.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As there is a course outcome and course theory all the topics and modules are taken on the basis of this. All classroom are digital and there is proper lights and fans. And because of that it is the perfect environment for teaching and also students to learn.Exams are taken on series levels and semester levels. They are moderately difficult

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
