What Students Say
Likes
- Campus is just beautiful filled with greenary and a perfect blend of flowers and gardens.
Dislikes
- Ragging and teasing culture of farm science colleges is horrible and that too UASD is at its peak
- Terrible gender biased people from students to till lecturers , in class there's a class representative from boys side and Girls representative from girls
Course Curriculum Overview
As for as the curriculum is concerned it is not at all industry oriented Just theory and exam writing apart from that students learn no skills like computer courses , excel , power point totally nothing. And even agricultural aspects also they'll provide no field experience
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee will divided as per the semester system. As per now the fee for 1st sem is 27000 , so for a year it'll come around 50000 on an average. Since it's a government sector you are eligible for many scholarship as for as you belong to EWS . you can avail MHRD , SSP , and GENERAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP from college. As campus employment concerned you'll have RAWE program of 3 months for that government of India and Karnataka will provide you stipend of 14000 and 9000 rs respectively
Campus Life
As for as the campus life concerned, we've a beautiful campus that any college can never have. Filled with greenary and a beautiful weather. But social groups and clubs and students portal they're all not so good to. Student life is awful filled with teasing and mocking and catcalling. For girls it is horrible place to be
Admission
Admission process is so smooth, you can pay fee through bank transfer or you can use internet banking as well. Competitive exam called KCET for pcmb candidates from Karnataka this is the exam and you need to have a ranking of 5000 and within to get seat from top farm science colleges. Other than that you've ICAR exam through that you can get a college anywhere in India.
Faculty
As per my experience faculties are great in the college. But since online classes have come to existence practical oriented curriculum has become online and exam oriented and it is making the students unskilled. And even the curriculum and teachers also have become lethargic and it's impact is growing tremendously on students as they've considered a degree life as something that needs to enjoyed without focusing on career
