Likes
- The ambience of college is very nice like the greenery and the different types of plants and trees.
- The faculties are really good like they teach very well and give good marks.
- Some people are really interactive and I learn from them how to socialize and I found really good friends in the college.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure should be improved and some of the ACs which are not working should be repaired.
- Some of the people or I can say seniors are really toxic, they should know how to behave with others.
Course Curriculum Overview
The current curriculum should be improved like there is no need of vac, sec courses. We are studying for a particular degree so core subjects are mandatory but we are not even learning a single word from vac or sec subjects. They are like burden to students. The vac and sec should be removed from the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
I don't know the exact name of companies but I have heard that students got summer internships from the college itself and the stipend they have got about 2 lakh for 2 months. And also I know a person from the college who is currently walking as an intern in Deloitte.
Placement Experience
The students which are in 3rd year got chance to get placed. The companies like Deloitte, Air India, EY, PWC, Bain, etc. have visited our college and many students got placed in that companies. The highest package till now is of 35 lakhs and the average is 13 lakhs p.a. Almost all the students who sit in the placement process get placed. I don't have any concrete plan after the but I'll be surely take a good campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee of srcc is comparatively high but they are providing the facilities also. There are many scholarships available for the needy students, like one of them I have availed and got almost 1/3rd of my fee back. And also there are other merit based scholarships.
Campus Life
My overall experience till now in the college is very good. I have interacted to many people and found some good friends as well. The annual fest of college is crossroads which generally organised in the month of April or May. There are many books in the library I can say all the subjects which were studying in our semester or in the college the there are many books in the library I can say all the subjects which were studying in our semester or in the college the there are almost all the types of books available in the library from course books to novels and historical books. The facilities in the classroom are good like there is a projector in every classroom. The sports like football, cricket, basketball, badminton, chess, volleyball, etc. are offered in the campus. They are almost 60+ societies in SRCC like hrdc, vittshala, enactus, nss, 180dc, economics society, commerce society, etc. which are run by students of the college.
Admission
The cutoff of srcc is high because obviously it is the best commerce college of Asia. The application one can find on csas portal of du, the application process was not so much lengthy. I've scored 777/800 and availed the benefit of Ews category and got the admission in the first list. The timings of exams are like 9-12 which is okay and the difficulty level of exam depends upon subject to subject like if I talk about a particular paper,i.e., Corporate Accounting, which is second semester of Bcom Hons, is difficult even if you solve the whole book you'll find some different questions in the exam and genuinely the questions will be tougher than the book's questions.
Faculty
The faculty members at SRCC are really good except some of them. They are qualified and possess doctorate as well. They teach very well and also solve my doubts, they are like good friends to me. Because of them I studied for the semester from the very beginning.
