Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

The curriculum of the teaching is good and the time to each topic is given properly for starting units but at the end of units the pace of teaching increases rapidly. The schedule of exam are decided by University and it's sort of complicated as the import exam are given very little time and the submission are taken according to teachers will which causes difficulty

Placement Experience

4

The student of third and fourth year are eligible for campus placement and for internship the students from 2 to 4 th year are eligible and to apply for internship the students are required to fill form on their own the placement in campus are good if you have good communication skills and industry skills the highest placement recived from previous rounds was of 8.5 lakhs per year given by TCS . I will opt for college placement if not then I will develop required skills during my course completion to get good placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very simple Open fee -120000 OBC fee- 80000 Sc/St - 400 to 600 The hostel fee is not included in college fee and it varies according to our choice and hikes in fee is not often seen The training regarding specific job and employment are provided by college and companies are seen for students placement but placement are done on small scale

Campus Life

3

There are multiple annual function conducted in year like different days related to education industry like science day and there are many seminar on various required topics . The main program is the annual fest conducted by college each year having new name and new theme to it generally conducted in February after 1st semister examination the classroom are equipped with digital bords and good projectors. College also has student union which manages students affairs

Admission

The cutt of for computer science engineering was 94 percentile and above in mhtcet examination and the process of addmission was performed through cap rounds of cet so there is no special need to fill form the reservation on fee is according to government regulations OBC have 40 percentage less fee compared to open category areas of improvement for admission process is to increase the time for final addmission process

Faculty

2

The college teaching staff is experienced but the interaction with student varies with teacher some teachers are really supportive and do proper interaction with student but there are many teachers who are not so good in interaction

> From the 4th semester itself, students can go on a off-campus intership with the permission of the college department; the college takes care of the students' attendance. > While mostly students start looking for an internship from the 6th sem onwards. >About 80-85% students were placed from the final year, and the rest many chose to pursue higher studies in foreign countries. > The highest package went up to 12-13 LPA, while the lowest was 3 LPA, on the other hand the average package was 6-7 LPA. > The top recruit companies are Accenture, TCS, Cognizant, and Wipro.

Placement Experience:

In my college students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester and every year many companies come for hiring. Recently companies like TCS Accenture Cognizant Hitachi JSW Group Philips Axis Bank and some startups also visited so we get both IT and core chances. As per the latest data the highest package was around 24 LPA and the average stays around 6 to 6.5 LPA for most students and the lowest offers start from 3.5 LPA so it depends a lot on the role and company. Many students get placed but it mostly depends on skills performance and branch so it is not guaranteed for everyone. I feel the college gives decent chances but we also have to do our own preparation because competition is high. If I dont get placement from campus then I will try off campus also because there are many openings outside specially in IT. Overall placements are good for this level college and since companies keep coming for drives students who prepare properly usually get at least one offer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. CIA like case studies, presentations, and assignments encourage hands on learning. However, in some programs, there is a still heavier focus on the theory, so students must actively seek extra learning resources

Students become eligible for campus placements once they enter 3rd year of college. Some notable companies that visit the campus is nomura, walmart, amazon, nvidia and they take 5-6 candidates each while nomura takes 15-16 per year. The highest on campus is 43 lakhs while off campus is around 1.4cr. average package is 14-15 lpa mostly for swe roles. Percentage student getting placed is 50% oncampus and if we add off campus the number goes to 80%. I plan to work in the industry for 2-3 years and then try to go for masters.
