Course Curriculum Overview
In the first year there are all the basic subjects like Physics , Chemsitry , Maths etc .After that the core subjects are added depending on ones branch.The are three exams in a sem , two Minons and one Major.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a goverment university the fees is minimal as comapred to many top colleges . It is around 6,00,000 for whole degree.There are many scholarships provided bases on ones income,gender or caste.There is very good employment as well in our depaetment specifically
Campus Life
PU is the 2nd biggest university after DU in India . There are fest every month is different departments.There is one of the Indias Biggest library AC JOSHI library.The are all the top fecilites provided within the campus . There are 8 grounds for different sports and more then 35 clubs . It provide student with best social life.
Admission
The admission is done through JAC CHANDIGARH COUNCELLING .One have to give first jee mains exam and depending on there rank branched are alloted.Frees of form is around 1500 rupees and is available after jee mains 2nd exam.There are many reservation benefits for SC,ST,KM,OBC,PWD etc.
Faculty
Most of the Professors are mostly PHD holders and very branch have 6-7 Professors to teach them .As it is a government college some Professors are easy to approach and helpful wheras some can be quiet strict .
