Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is up to date and it teaches us everything that is necessary for Industry. As the teaching methods depends on individual teachers therefore some teachers need improvement in their teaching methods. The frequency of exams is moderate.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester you will become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit but nowadays market is not so good for most of the colleges. Highest package is 7-15 Lpa and lowest package is around 3 Lpa. My plan is to try on-campus as well as off-campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is around 45-50 thousand per semester there will be 8 semesters. Scholarship are available. There are extra charges if opt for hostel as I don't have hostel so I am unaware of the details. There are few temporary job roles inside campus and they provide stipend of 5k/month.

Campus Life

Every year there's are tech fest known as JisTech the annual tech fest. Also there is a Annual Cultural fest known as Majestic. There a huge field for outdoor sports and also game rooms inside the campus for indoor games.

Admission

60% in 12th with Science background and Math is compulsory. In college website it's easy for application or if you go physically it's even more better. The frequency and timing of exam is moderate around 5 months for each semester and the difficulty is neutral.

Faculty

All faculty members are not same there are some who cares for the students and there are some who doesn't even ask if need any help or the students understand or not. Some members teaching techniques are so good that if you listen the lectures carefully theres no need of revision.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

GOOD College at low fees.

Placement Experience:

Placement of my college are quite good with a avg package of 6 to 7 lpa and higest package of 45 lpa and this year the higest package is 75 lpa. The companies visited in my college are infosys, Capgemini,tcs,wipro, Mindtree,IBM, sometimes amazon also.The placement rate of the college is 85 to 95%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester student become eligible for the campus placements. Amul(GCMF) , Mother Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Bhagirathi cooperative, Wamul, ITC are the company's visited and they provide good packages according to the students work in interview. After getting the degree I would pursue my hair studies in Mtech Food Technology from IIT or go to MBA course from IIM. My main goal is to get NDRI National Dairy Research Institute which is top institute for imparting dairy and veterinary courses for MTech Dairy Technology. 70 to 80% of the students are being placed and the packages very from 20 lakh per anum to 40 lakh per annum. After getting BTech degree most of the students preferred to go for higher studies and job. Research line is open for our course. Most girls prefer higher studies and research line and most boys prefer for job.

Placement Experience:

Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well and learn well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college are Amul, Mother Dairy, Red Cow, Metro, ITC, Thackers, TCS etc. Students can get various types of jobs like dairy development officer, dairy technologist, farm manager etc.

Reality of Jis college of engineering

I choose this college because this college was good in among all the average colleges in West Bengal leaving the top colleges. The placement is also good. So for all this reason I choose this college. I wanted to go for heritage but my name didn't came in cutoff.
