Oxford of East - AU

As Allahabad University is also known as Oxford of East which shiws the level of education this intitute provides. Careiculum are well designed and also a bit tough but for those who studies can never get failed. My course is BSc Statistocs which will be helpful for me in corporstes like acturial, data analyst, statustical officers. And also i am eligible to give exams like ISS. As the course is a bit tough so it can be design in a more simoler way. Due to new education policy, there are semester exams which is also good and show level of knowing of there subjects in students.

From sem 5, students can apply for placement. There are not a lot of placements from Au there are selected departments which offer placements. And also nit many more companies approach in university, you have to search and try mainly off campus. Those companies whi comes and give placement will offer you 4-5 LPA. I Will, be doing my Master's from statistics from the same AU.

Fess of Allahabad university is on lower side. For my course i ams paying 3 thousand for 3 years of my course. But for new session in AU the course fees have been incresed to 4000 per year. There are scolership programs which helps students to get there education fees back amd help them in there studies. The amount of scolership would u get is equal to your course fees + Reimbursement of your fees. University plays a vital role in giving scolership to students , if you perform well in exams then there will be many chances to receive a lot of scolership from campus.

My overall experiemce in AU was fantastic. As AU is not known for placement in companies but the students of AU are placed in Post like IAS/IPS. In Au there is A central Library which have lakhs of books related to your particular cousr and also of different renowned writers. Any ome with his identity card of AU can access it and read it even thwy have option to Issue it and read it later at home. Classrooms are well designed and furnished fullt AC ventilated rooms and lots of comfortable chairs to sit and study. You get Wifi in whole campus to not face any kind of internet problem. Sports facilities are good and notifies for any event in prior. Recentlt many clubs startes in FCI building of AU for social work and for making awareness in public related to many topics

For BSC statistocs you must have passed your Intermediate with mathematics physics and chemistry as your subjects. selection is done through cuet exam and cutoff. Mainly the cutoff would be around 160-178 in 300 . For reservation categories these marks are more lesser

Faculty to student ratio is also very good. There Are almost 2-3 professors for 20 students and all, these professors are so much experienced that no one can beat themcin there subjects. They are so polite in nate that even after class you can ask for help if you are facing any kind of problem. Many professors know me by name due to these regular interactions.
