Likes

Our college is huge and spread in 50 acre area .
Here we have playgrounds for football cricket and as well as vollyball
Here teachers are very helpful and guide us everytime.

Dislikes

The hostel food is not so good ; so for daily basis it's harmful to health .
The library is very small and we don't have common room in the hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like the coding culture so I decided to enroll in this course. I learned Python, c++, javascript, HTML, etc. For the computer class in our college, we need more practical work instead of theory classes. we have 2 sessional exams and 1 final end sem exam.

Class Size: 195Course Fees: INR 110000 per year

Placement Experience

After the 5th sem, students are eligible for college placement. In our college Bazar; usha kind of company visit .here highest package is around 12 lpa and highest offer package is 15 lpa and lowest is 3 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Here the tution fee is high as compared to its teaching so it will cost around 4 lakh and we have to give money to Farewell and other kinds of things. Here if you score 80 percent you will get around 15 to 20 percent discount.

Campus Life

Here we have a huge event in the month of April. But unfortunately from the COVID-19 time, it did not happen. The facilities they provide in the classroom - ac; fan; always light and in computer class they provide us with computers.

Hostel Facilities

Here the hostel rooms are not so spacious and the food is good. The food they provide is very oily and sometimes not even good to eat. The registration process here is very easy you can apply to the hostel at the same time during the admission process.

Admission

We have to score around 60+ in physics math and chemistry for endroll this course .And 60 percent for a general category student .you can find it on main website of kaziranga university; application fees is around 1k .The difficulty level is not so high .

Here we have 195 students in b tech cse and we have at least 2 teachers for every subject . Few of our teachers are phd holders. If we face any kind of problem related to studying we can reach our teachers easily.

Great college with decent infrastructure and a large campus

Placement Experience:

The placements here are actually decent. The average package for my branch was around 13.5 LPA last year and branches like CSE, EC and EI have a higher average package generally. The campus is visited by almost all of the top companies including Google, Adobe, Facebook, etc. The detailed placement records are available on the website of the institute.The percentage of students getting placed ranges anywhere between 70 percent to 92 percent. I plan to get an M.Tech degree after completing my B.Tech course from an IIT if possible.

Placement Experience:

Placement percentage is nearly about 75-80%. Usually students get placed in good PSUs, or in tech companies. Other students opt for further studies like mtech or mba. My plans is to mtech as I want to do better jobs than a btech graduate do

Normally from third semester student become eligible campus placements but most usually take placements in fourth semester or fifth semester The percentage of getting placements are about 60% The highest package per company usually was ?80,000 per month and the average is around 20,000 Per month My plan is to get a job of a construction firm for about one year so that I can collect good amount of experience and they will hire me because I am passout from this college because this is one of the most reputed college after one year or two year, I will try for government exams or some private companies like Gautam farm, et cetera

The students who are appearing for the 7th semester end term examination are eligible for the campus placement drive , eligibility varies as per the companies eligibility criteria, main factors are CGPA score of the particular student. There are many companies who visited the campus for placement drive but the main companies who visited for campus placement drive are : NRL( Numoligorh Refinery Limited) ,ONGC( oil natural gas corporation) etc , the highest package offered was 24 lpa by NRL and the offer was got by 8 students and the average package of our college is 7lpa approx

An honest review for NIT silchar with detail analysis.

Placement Experience:

Placement of NIT silchar is pretty good. Average package is around 12 Lpa. Although after corona the placement dropped but still it is good. Many big tech companies visit during placement for full time and internship. Core companies also visits for different roles. During our placement season it happens generally after 7th semester. Generally criteria for sitting in any company varies based on cgpa and sometimes 10th and 12th marks depends on company to company generally it is 6 or 7 or 8 cgpa. Good it companies offer 20-30lpa and lowest offer was 6th lpa.
