Course Curriculum Overview
The course is Electrical and computer engineering and is like one of the most toughest course ( tougher than eee and cae) , but again there's this thing that it's a gr8 course from getting placement point of view as there is a lot of job openings in electrical field like semicons. The curriculum is designed in a good manner so that the students learn a lot of things afficiently without have high pressure and is well sorted. Someuimes it becomes hard in exam times but one can easily top it up with some extra hard work.
Internships Opportunities
We, btech students have to do an internship in the 3 rd year. I haven't done it yet so I don't any major idea on it but yea we get a stilened internship in some good company and make a final year project in the 4th year. I saw my seniors make big drones and many electrical equipments like metal claw and a lot of things so there's a lot of scope to get in touch with your frnds and make something fascinating.
Placement Experience
The placemts are raly great here. Many big mncs come here just name which company you want-amazon? They come here, google-they too. The avg package is 10.75 for btech but for ece it's 11.25L, the highest is 60L oer annum. Aroung 95% of the student get placed and remaining 5% got for higher education like masters. I don't remember the exact no. Of companies but a lot of them comes. I will take the job in my 4 th year and then work for 2-3 years then for for my masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
The policy can i seen in the brouchher of the university, but overall it increases in tiny bits so not much of an issue. My total fees would be aprox 21L including everything with the hostel as its necessary. Scholarships available are there so if you Arre a national level sprts players you can grab it. You can get on campus jobs in 3 rd year and they actually pay you well.
Campus Life
There are a lot of clubs, events and recently even many big artists like arpit bala, kullu from tanmay bhats group came for the events. The campus life is like any Netflix collage you would imagine because of our 300 accre campus and lush greenery greenery it really nice. Library is really big too and is full ac and guess what i sometimes even sleep in there. I am in the football team of the collage and beleave me we have a lot of equipment and big individual fields for evey sports except swimming.
Hostel Facilities
Well there the basic almirah, chair, table and a bed. Of u take ac room they will charge some amt extra. In the 1 st year you will have a room with 4 roomates though the room is quite big so nothing to fear. There's the common toilets which get cleaned abt 5 times a day so it's like they are always fresh. Tbh hostel here is very cheap though you will have to take it as it's compulsory as it's a residential collage. The hostels are very clean and senittized and the warden is good too. The menu of mess is monterd by a Diticiean amd is healthy. The wear mask and gloves while preparing food. We get some special delecact almost everry day. Then there this hungerbox system in which you will get around 1275 rs in it and you can spend them in a week. Generally normal lunch and dinner (veg) cost rs 71 while there's this special dinner mess in which you can get some hotel grade delecasy with the same amt.
Admission
First you must have scored above 70% in board in the core 3 subjects ex-pcm, my jeet%le was 90.82 and i got ece, well if your percent is low you can also give SNSUAT, collages own admission paper just like bitsat. (Imp-its not that easy). If you visit the campus they will give you a campus tour take you through everything in the campus. Exams are tough for me though it might be easier if you study har, though I am able to maintain a good score in the course.
Faculty
So there's two things, first there are around 105 students in my class and theres 1 proffesor( for one subject) and at least 3TA , they divde the class in grp of 3 and the TA take on doubts and solve questions in there class while there can be 2 proffesor for a specific subject if there are a lot of students. Faculty are well trained and they belong mostly from iits ans isers, and are actually good teachers. Approaching proffesor and TA is actually easy and 99% of time they respond then and there only.
