- Infrastructure issue, there are some department are far apart , to reach there we have to cross road which is risky.
- Lots of politics is happening in the college which could be misleading.

Course Curriculum Overview
The time i took admission in the college, the new education policy was introduce so i am doing 4 year UG programme. I am pursuiting Bsc in CS. This course contains theory and practical equally. Its just lack in using modern world application to run and debug code or program. Two exams in a Semester, one mid term and end term.
Fees and Financial Aid
Maximum of the courses provided by the institution are pretty less and pocket friendly, but if you still lack enough money. Then , are scholarship like nisan udey, which provide enough amount to complete the course.
Campus Life
There are enough books as should be there considering it is a tier 2 college in guwahati. We can find every which would helpful for your course. Maximum of the classroom have projectors, whiteboard. College supports many sports but lacks infrastructure.
Admission
There are two ways to take admission in cotton university through class 12th merit list or cuet exam. 60% seats are filled through 12th merit and 40% through cuet. The student should secure minimum of 60% in class 12th. The application form, dates could be found in the official cotton university website. The exams are of moderate level. There are reservation for OBC, SC, ST.
Faculty
The faculty of cotton university is pretty good, they are available during the college hours. If you have any doubts you can text to the teacher and pick a time to discuss. We have mentor mentee meet once a week.
