I found faculties with great dedication here.They are available to help students at any time .for exampleIf a student is getting low marks,they will arrange remedial classes and make him capable to attend that paper very easily.such good faculties
Campus is extended to acres.Along with academic facilities,the college provide more extra curricular facilities.That means,this college is really a great choice for a sports man or artist.
Can't let go off the academic facilities it provides.They provide best lab facilities for the respective departments

Dislikes

We got a very short semesters this year.within a period of 4 month,entire syllabus for a semester,two series exams and a semester exam had completed
This year,entire syllabus for a semester is completed within a period of 4 month.it was like information overlading
Infrastructure can be made to more attractive

Choosing a btech in a good college was my wish and it came true.I can say it proudly that I have reached to an amazing college.The entire papers, seminars,projects helping me to improve in various aspects of my field.Even though a semester ends within a short period of time, everything is going correctly without any delay so I think it will be helpful for my graduation without any delay

Teachers of our college provide informations about various paid and unpaid internships with or without stipends.we can select as per our choices.students will get internship opportunities both in public offices and private companies inside or outside the state

Placement Experience

Every department of our college provides placement offers. from 3rd year itself, students can attend interviews for placements. That is from the 6th, 7th and 8th semesters. The average salary package may be about 2 lakhs at first year. About 30 % of students will get placement directly from college. I am also looking forward to campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee per annum is about 10000. Therefore for 4 years it will be about 40000 rupees only. according to me, it is really an amazing amount compared to other private colleges which rate lakhs per year. The college also facilitates many scholarships for backward communities and for those who are excellent at academics and non-academics. example egrantz, other private scholarships etc. College alumni also provide scholarships for very backward.

This is the best college for those people who are looking for better social skills as the college provides many clubs, and activities for students..For those who need technical improvement, there are many clubs which provide it like gdsc, IEEE, etc. and other social, and palliative clubs, etc. for those who are interested in helping others

Hostel Facilities

College provides hostel facilities for both girls and boys .Hostel seats are based on income and distance from their home.Others can look for other PG facilities which available around 360 degree of college at a great extent.

Admission

Admission to this college is based on the rank in keam entrance exam which is conducted every year in May or June or July all over Kerala. Every science student who passed 12th can apply for this.It composes 2 papers.one is maths and other is chemistry and physics.For engineering both of the paper is necessary, the syllabus for the exam is 11th and 12th .it will be MCQ.

Faculty

Every department consists of a better faculty-to-student ratio. All the faculties are well qualified with mtech,phD, and other qualifications, etc. and they all are well acknowledged with great dedication . And they are ready to help the students at any time. And mentors of each class interact with every student and help each one if there is necessary. Most of them are kind.

Interview Experience

Firat we have to get a good rank in Keam.Then according to our rank we will be alloted to colleges.for our college,we need a good rank as it include in best college of Kerala.Later we have to interact with faculties and principal during admission procedures.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

I choose btech cse cause it was the trending course at that time and I was computer science student in my high school so it was best for me to choose btech cse at that time. And I believe it cold be a great career choice

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

Likes

College was at a beautiful place. It was not a city but a beautiful place.
Hostel was great. I got many friends from there.
These are the only things that I can think of.

Dislikes

Teachers, they are horrible one one teacher named aparna was professional and ethical. My HOD was the worst.
Principal is the worst. She does not hear students side. She is money minded. I had a fee pending for not more than 2 week. When I went to her for signing my medical report she demanded that she will sign only after I paid that fee
The college does not encourage extra curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Likes

Decent infrastructure. hostel infrastructure is also clean and better than most colleges

Dislikes

Very poor campus life. No importance for cultural programmes and activities
Very poor and degrading environment for women. Faculties and other staff are very judgemental.
Very low packages for average students. Placement training is regularly being provided, but it is too hectic to be managed along with curriculum.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

We have a very good faculty family that is not only supportive but also loving.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester we are eligible for the placements. They provide placement training sessions in the college itself. Computer Science department has almost hundred percent placements. Also there is mtech in the college if you prefer higher studies.

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

Remarks:

Yeah well, positive things are there. I got many friends. I got a degree. I learned much personal and professional knowledge. I also learned how to live independently for 4 years without parents alone somewhere.
