Likes

Good crowd and it makes you ready for each and every thing .
Teachers are really supportive and helps you in each and every thing
In short DU makes you ready. For all the situation you will face in your life . Like it will make you experience elections . Du is really famous for their elections

Dislikes

Due to less fees it takes you have to compromise with infrastructure
One need to avoid fights as there are lot's of fights happening in Du
One should try to get admission in morning college than evening college

Course Curriculum Overview

1)This course has comparatively more options than comparing other courses of commerce background 2) curriculum really prepares for real world as we study about how economy works 3) There is lot of maths included in this course 4) exams are not much hard if u have studied and there are two semester exams and practicals

Internships Opportunities

1)There are many companies that come for internship and give various roles in different colleges that come under DU 2) I really can't clarify the tasks and projects that are offered as there are different projects and roles offered

Fees and Financial Aid

1) There are no such hikes in fees and fees isunder affordability for most of the people 2) 1300 per year 3) don't have much information about scholarship as there are many available for students 4) Not taken as such campus employment.There are different roles that one can apply for employment in University

Campus Life

1) There are different fests organised by different societies but one of the biggest fest organised are Mecca of Hindu college and crossroads of Srcc 2) there are many books and journals available in Library 3) infrastructure of classroom are decent 4) sports facilities are really good grounds are really big 5) there are many students run social groups and societies

Admission

1) one need to give CUET exam for admission 2) for economic hons one need to have maths in 12th and give maths cuet exam along with 2-3 different subject exam 3)All information about CUET is available In NTA site 4)If someone have reservations than someone can get admission in quite less marks in cuet 5) During admission time one need to have proper information while preparing preference sheet so I guess University should provide information regarding the minimum marks required for getting admission

Faculty

1) The faculty to student ratio is good faculty are available for students most of the time 2) most of the teachers have good approach towards studies but some of them really don't care about studies. 3)You can contact teachers they are really supportive.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option

Life when you get into srcc

I am getting in srcc was purely my luck. i applied for this college because anywhere you see you will find the name of this college to be the top college in the commerce field and in every other way. i also applied for hansraj, kmc, hindu, etc but i got into my first preference. the admission process in not very complex you give cuet, score more that the cutoff, then make a preference list, and if you get into college you just have to submit the fees online on the du portal which will confirm your admission....Read More
