Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is great as this year onwards the syllabus is strictly oriented to course degree programme from first year onwards and students dont have to study other branch subjects in first year. The curriculum prepares well for real world applications and it has many great subjects and projects to do. There are two main exams, midsem and endsem and their difficulty level is from medium to very high.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship season starts at the end of second year. Companies like tcs, mircrosft, etc come to recruit students for internship and provide good stipends. The selection is based on your resume and projects you have done throughout your degree and they may also consider your cgpa. If you do an internship, there is high chance for you to land a placement at the same of different company at 4th year placement season

Placement Experience

4

Placements of my college are good. The placement season starts at the end of third year. Companies like tcs , microsoft , google come to recruit from our college with good packages. 1000+ offers were offered to students in 2023. The highest package was about 50 lack and average was about 13 lack in 2023. The percentage of studenys getting placed is 88%. My plans after getting degree is to secure a good placement with good package and gain some experience in the industry.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on the income of the family. If the family income is below 1 lack, no academic fees is to be paid. My fees is about 1-1.5 lack per year including hostel fees and food. I dont currently have any scholarships availed or any financial aid. Also there are no canpus enployment i have taken currenty as iam in first year. The intership season of collect starts at end of second year of college.

Campus Life

4

There are two main events conducted in my college every year, Tathva(technical fest) and Ragam(cultural fest). Tathva is conducted at around October and Ragam around march. There are wide variety of research and study books provided in the library in which students can easily access. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and mic, speakers for sound assistance in lectures. There are wide variety of sports conducted in my college like football, cricket ,basketball , tabletennis, etc. Many clubs and groups are there in my college in which students can join and mingle. These play a crucial role in developing our communication skills.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Our hostel room is 4- occupied in which there are 4 beds and 3 cupboards shared by 4 people. There is average wifi facility in hostel. Range coverage depends and sometimes not great at many areas. Meal quality is good and wide variety of foods are provided including north indian and south indian Registraion of hostel is done at the time of admission procedure. Hostel fees and food cost can come up to a total of 1-1.5 lack in 4 years

Admission

The admission to my college was through jee main entrance exam conducted every year where lacks of aspirants write. The course which iam enrolled in that is computer science has cutoff of about 99 percentile. The reservation which iam enrolled in reduces that cutoff to about 97-98 percentile. The jee entrance exam is difficult but can cracked with consistency and hard work. The admission process can be improved as students are admitted solely based on an entrance exam

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ratio is good. They are phd and mtech holders and are highly qualified. Some of them teach very well and have great teaching style also. Interaction with teachers varies from teachers to teachers. We have a faculty head who we can approach to regarding academics

Campus placements are highly volatile taking the stats from over the past three years there has been an up trend as well a down trend, I hope I will get placed through on campus interviews, the highest package of this year was for two graduates who got into IBM with 22 lakhs per aanum, there are few who didn't get into any of the companies while there were others who got int Amazon and other reputated companies, if I do not get into a reputed company through my college on campus placements the. I'll be aiming for higher educations most probably

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 6th semester onwards. At the conclusion of the second year, the college evaluates all students, allowing only the diligent and deserving individuals to proceed, while others are dismissed. The college provides excellent placement prospects for high-performing students. A multitude of reputable companies actively recruit from our institution, making it a premier destination for career opportunities in Kerala. While assured placement is offered to students with minimal or no backlog papers, others are also placed, albeit with comparatively lower annual packages. Majority of the talented students are placed in Cognizant and TCS Ninja with an average annual package of 10 to 12 lakh. I actually plan to pursue higher studies after Btrch.
