- Infrastructure. We have two campuses, high end labs, good classrooms, libraries, sports complex etc
- Diverse branches, flexible curriculum, courses to encourage robotics, entrepreneurship etc

Dislikes
- The route between two campuses is not that proper especially if there are any lansdslides
- The bus timings between the two campuses and from campus to Mandi are very busy during peak hours
- The college is almost one hour far from city, Mandi.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have a flexible curriculum. Some courses are compulsory for every student irrespective of the branch. And according to each branch, we have core and electives. Also, we have the option of doing a minor, double major, or honours.
Internships Opportunities
You can apply for internships from the third year. You can either apply on campus or off campus. But first, there are certain rules to be followed which would be told by the career and placement cell of our college. You can either choose an industrial internship or a research internship. You can also work under any professor in the college itself.
Placement Experience
From the 7th semester, you would be eligible to sit for placements. Our college has a career and placement cell responsible for contacting companies, conducting examinations, and interviews on behalf of the company. While the highest package is around 35 lakhs, the average package is around 25 lakhs. Some students also opt for higher studies immediately.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee depends on the category- general, sc obc, st. The hostel and mess fee together are of minimal cost around 24000. For the tuition fee, there are various scholarships to help the students. Some of them are the merit cum means for gen/obs, Kotak kanya for first-year girls etc. You can also opt to become a teaching assistant in any course, you will be provided the stipend too.
Campus Life
We have the technical fest- Xpecto, cultural fest- Exodia, sports fest- Rann Neeti. We also have an intra-college tech fest- aakarshan, Astro fest- AstraX, literary fest- Ruvaan, inter-year tournaments- Aagaz, hostel general championship. We also participate with other IIT's in Inter IIT every year. We also have the student gymkhana where students are involved in every college affair, technical clubs and cultural, and literary clubs too.
Hostel Facilities
In the first year, you are either given double or triple sharing rooms. In the second year, you are provided with triple-sharing rooms. In the third year, you would get single rooms. But in the fourth year, you might get double sharing rooms too. The meal quality in the mess is good and according to the seasons, there will be a change in the menu.
Admission
I got the admission based on the rank received in JEE Advanced. As everybody is aware this exam is very tough to crack. Every year one IIT is responsible for conducting this exam. You can find the details on their website. The exam is of two shifts and it is mandatory to write both. Students of the top percentile in JEE Mains are eligible to write JEE Advanced.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is just right. We have a very experienced faculty and they often are engaged in some research. They also provide some internship opportunities to the students interested. Apart from studies, if you wish to work on any topic, publish a research paper, participate in any tech events, they are always there to help you.
