Likes

The staff is really good , teachers are really concerned about you and your future.
The ambience of the college is great. It’s green and beautiful
The students are from all the parts of the country and it gives a good cultural mix

Dislikes

Canteen really sucks , it’s too bad. The food is stale sometimes and gives you food poisoning
We don’t have AC classrooms so it’s teally difficult to sit in hot weather
We are not allowed to use the lift and it sometimes pisses you off.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course which currently i am studying is not of that much value in the society but the fact that we get a fair chance of studying a lot of different subjects in just 1 degree is really helping us to build a all rounder personality.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 45000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

We have a total fees of 45000 for a three year degree . Which breaks into 15000/ annum. It's not that high for a good government college.Our college provide us with a lot of schlorships. We have scholarships for all the toppers of every department each year. We have a placement cell and the college is providing a good number of chance to get us job.

Campus Life

The life at college is weird but fun. You get to meet a lot of different people. The societies helps you to make good friends , you find your passion with the help of these societies. Our college has a MUN society, dance & singing society and even Research society.

Admission

It was a merit based admission during my time. But the criteria's are now changed we have CUET exams now to get admission in any college. And your entrance exams decides what college did you get it. The one thing that I didn't like about the whole admission process is a lack of information that we get as a students

We have a lot of teachers in our college . The ratio of student and teachers is quite great. We have a menter mentee session every month to build more strong connections between teachers and students.

Area that should be improved that is treat every student similarly without any discrimination. Faculty don't even tdke action on sol, IGNOU and NCWEB students. So I think it should be improved firstly.

Truth About Hidden IPCW (DU)

Placement Experience:

Since i am 2nd year myself, hearing from seniors, seeing placement cell activities and reading reports, placement at ipcw are decent but far from perfect. The placement drive is not as huge or reliable as some commerce Acc. to the nirf report, for ug courses out of 1204 eligible students 118 got placed, which is roughly 9-10, for pg course, out of 100 eligible students only 6 got placed. Median package for UG was 6.20 lakhs per annum, and for pg is 6.7 lakhs per annum. In earlier years (2022-23) , median UG package was higher. The highest package went to 23 lakhs per annum which was quite impressive. It was from DE Show and co., Wipro, Capgeminie etc. there are regular recruiters like DE. Shaw abd co.,Wipro, Capegemini, Godrej properties, Sirion Labs etc. What i feel personaly as an eco hons. student unless i build extra i cant really expect placement. Masters and competetive exams are next option
