Likes

1.Environment is good. Campus is very green and lushy. Wifi connectivity over whole campus.
2.Proffesors are good. All are highly qualified and teaching knowlege is good.

Dislikes

1.Lack of competitiveness. The crowd here is not as competitive as other IITs.
2.Wifi strength is not as good as expected. Can be done better.
3.The teacher to student ratio is bit high, that can be a issue

Course Curriculum Overview

The course of study is quite comprehending. All subjects are prepared as per the requirement of a mordern business prospect. Subjects cover a wide range from mathematics to Human resource management. Overall good syllabus, but there is some scope of improvement in the practical application of the course study.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are widely available by the departments. Various on campus internship also comes to the the department. The T&P is very active. Projects are diversified with much better clarifications and practical applications.

Placement Experience

Placements is good in the college. Students are eligible from 5th sem for placements. Companies that visited were KPMG, EY, DELLOITE, PWC, HIGHRADIUS and Hitachi and more. The average package ranges about 8-9 LPA. Highest package was 13LPA. Overall a decent placement if you have the right knowledge and skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is somewhat economical viable. It costed us around 60k every year + the one time fee that is 75000. Fee has been increased to almost 2.5x to 96000 per sem. Scholarship is available only to the toppers of KIITEE exam. Other fellowships aren't available here.

Campus Life

Campus Life is amazing here. Very happening. KIIT FEST is the annual fest that happens every year. Technical events of respective departments happen almost every day. Besides various 24×7 departmental libraries, the central library is itself an campus, with almost 50k+ books. Societies are very active. All societies come under the KIIT STUDENT ACTIVITY CENTRE. VERY HAPPENING AND PRODUCTIVE

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are good. Options are for 3 bedded, 2 bedded and single accommodation. AC and Non-AC, both options are available. Food is okayish. Menu keeps changing. Can be better. A lot of scope of improvement in nutritional changes.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Admission

The admission process is smooth. Admission is done on the basis of KIITEE. KIITEE is available on the site website kiit.ac.in. Application is fully free to apply. The exam happens once every year. Its difficulty is somewhat easy to moderate.

Faculty

Faculty are highly qualified. Its mandatory to have a min of PhD degree to be a proffesor here. The faculty to student ratio is a bit high, that might be a concern. Proffesors are very friendly and easy to approach.

My Experience at PN College: Campus Life, Cources, and Everything in Between

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.

My goal and i would like to work as a cost accountant..so for this purpose i have choosen this course for study because without degree and knowledge in commerce i have not achieve my goal. In our course the ratio of facility and student is 7:250. Our faculty is well educated and completed all the qualification required to became a professor in college and also awarded from our President of india.. Teaching style, method is very much easy and clear. Every students can easily understand the overall study course. Thr term exam is conducted in 3 month and overall 2 exam is conducted in a semister..1st term exam is 20mark and it is very easy to score the mark but 2nd or final semester exam is 80mark and it is little difficult to score more marks as compared to 1st term exam..

Positive is there are many trees around the campus but the negative one is there is no proper boundary wall for the campus, anyone can jump through the wall and can get inside or go outside of the college campus.
