Remarks

Positive is there are many trees around the campus but the negative one is there is no proper boundary wall for the campus, anyone can jump through the wall and can get inside or go outside of the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

There are wide variety of courses, which my college offers, and the exams are purely based on written form. Once the exams are over then the copies are sent to university for correction. Exams have 2 parts, one is assignments and the written

Placement Experience

1.5

No, there are no, inter ship The placement in this college is not so good. Fewer companies visit for on-campus drives, but most of the student got placed in the off-camp The average percentage of students got placed from my batch and from previous batches more numbers are placed in good organisations

College Events

4

There are no such events celebrated in our college, basically, the freshers party and the annual function are the two main events which we celebrate, in our college. There are no such special events to be celebrated in college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of Ravenshaw University is very low. Anyone can easily afford studying in this College and this is the best thing about Ravenshaw University. The annual fees for the first year was ?2400 and ?690 for the remaining years. However the fees of self financing students is quite high (?40,000 annually)

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is open to any applicant who is enrolled in college and is a legal resident of India, scholarship are on the basis of the house condition of the student, and also on the category which he/she belongs to.

Campus Life

3.5

Yes there are ncc camps held time to time, and, there are biology lab, computer lab, library, chemistry lab, also there are major events which are held over time to time. There are, many indoor sports events held in our college.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel of Ravenshaw University are inside the campus and hence it is very convenient for the students. However the infrastructure is not that good. 2-3 students have to share a room. Hostel seats are sufficiently enough for every student. The food provided in the College mess is pathetic and the students usually wish to avoid that and order food from restaurants. However, there is proper electricity and water supply. There are no air conditioned rooms. Hostel rent is ?8000 annually and ?1500-1600 per month for meals

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are also very helpful in nature, and always have good behavior, towards the juniors. It's a place where you can excel your hidden talents. Practice makes man perfect, so this is also a place where practice gain, learnt many things during classes.

Admission

1. We have to get registered with Mponline portal 2. Then we need to provide our details like, aadhar card, 12th marksheet, 10 marksheet, income certificate, birth certificate, caste certificate etc. 3. Then the application is to be verified by the professors of the college. 4. Admission is based on merit list which depends on your 12th class percentage, Higher the percentage, higher the chance of getting admission. 5. Then the merit list comes, if your name is in the list then you need to pay the admission fees, and your transfer certificate.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members are not the best but are quite good. Some classes are not held on time and some are even cancelled which causes trouble for the non hostellites. However, some teachers are cooperative and support their students whereas some teachers are partial.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. The structure is simple to follow and helps students build a good base in theory. Semester exams are conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate. A student who consistently studies can score well without extreme pressure. However, there is a lack of practical exposure such as industry visits, internships or real-world business case studies. Also, subjects related to modern digital business trends like data analytics, advanced Excel, and GST practicals should be included to make students more job-ready. Overall, the curriculum is relevant but needs more updates to match the current professional requirements

Placement Experience:

In our college, final-year students are eligile for campus placements. While i don't recall the specific companies that visited, one of my friends interviewed with Axis Bank and got selected with a package of around 2.4 lakh. The exact percentage of students are placed and details of average or highest packages are unclear to me, but the placements process provides opportunities of those actively seeking jobs. After completing my degree, I plan to pursue an independent career rather that seeking a traditioinal job placement.
