Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college provides bachelor's degree in arts commerce and science both general and Hons degrees. Our course of B.Com is very nice throughout. The exam structure is very simple i.e internal assessment exams and end semester.

Placement Experience

3.5

The college placement is average to be more specific below average beacuse the record for last few years has not been that good. There is no as such internship facilities but if you are meritorious and bright enough you can get but need to take prior permission.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is bit on the higher side taking into consideration the value for money. B.Com-15,000 B.A-16,500 B.A (Hons)-15180 B.Sc - 15000 The placement cell here not very active so keep it mind that in all probability whatever you are spending is only for getting a degree

Campus Life

3.5

The facilities are :- Youth Red cross Magazine NSS Good infrastructure Self defence training Diamond Jubilee year Genesis NCC Hostel Events and Much more. The college takes pride in such activities with lots of hustle and bustle.

Admission

I got admission into this college through 10+2 marks. You need to apply online for admission into the college. The admission will be strictly on the basis of merit. Once selected you need to report to college for verification of documents.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of the college is mind-blowing,I mean in the positive way. When they teach it seems as if they are enjoying and by seeing we also become very motivated and passionate to study. They are always there to clear our doubts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of B.Com under Sambalpur University covers important subjects like Accounting, Business Law, Economics, Management and Taxation which are essential for future studies and careers in finance or commerce. The structure is simple to follow and helps students build a good base in theory. Semester exams are conducted on time and the difficulty level is moderate. A student who consistently studies can score well without extreme pressure. However, there is a lack of practical exposure such as industry visits, internships or real-world business case studies. Also, subjects related to modern digital business trends like data analytics, advanced Excel, and GST practicals should be included to make students more job-ready. Overall, the curriculum is relevant but needs more updates to match the current professional requirements

Course Curriculum Overview:

This B.Com curriculum helps every basic individual how to manage money and also provides a path towards finance literacy. The subjects that B.Com has are so designed that the students get most benefit out of it and have experience how the things work in real world. Exams are conducted on timely basis and the exam papers are not too easy but medium and sometimes difficult. There is no default by any staff during exams .
