Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I was a CBCS BA prog student so there were only 4 subjects but now the NEP has brought around 7 subjects which helps in developing a holistic perspective for students in any sphere of reading. The new curriculum is really good.

Internships Opportunities

4

The new placement cell formed in 2023 has provided a great opportunity for placements to the students. Though it is newly formed still its reach is good which allows you to do an internship which in turn converts to a job based on your performance.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 6000. There is a placement cell in the college established in 2023 only therefore new but they managed to provide internship opportunities to students which in turn going to convert in jobs for the eligible ones. Scholarship is provided by DU itself for different sections of students for different criteria and can be easily availed through online mode .

Campus Life

4

College is full of diverse societies, for example, dramatics, music & debating society. Also, we have sports teams for which selections take place every year, and all the students are given a chance. Projectors and AC are there but only in some classes and not all. But all these facilities are provided in the New Building of the college which is one of the best infrastructures among all colleges of DU. The library is quite good and spacious with a diverse collection of books present.

Admission

I got admission through the cut-off and not CUET therefore having no idea about the process. In college, there are tests taken by the teachers to assess your performance and provide you with insights required for the subject.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty members are highly qualified and are highly approachable to interact. They help you in every way possible. Generally, they never create issues of attendance and try to give you the best marks that can be awarded for the given assignment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course that I'm doing is very relevant it teaches me about every marketing term that is still applicable the teaching methods adopted for core papers is purely through marketing case studies of new age brands however for SEC VAC GE the other lower credit papers the faculty is bad as well as they don't give context before teaching and assume that their students also have the same background like humanities etc my course for my core papers is veryy good

Placements Cell is working very closely with industries and therefore the first learn their requirements and then they train us accordingly. So after a proper training in 2 years, we are made to sit for interviews in the 3rd year and thankfully around 80 odd percentage of girls form our college are placed.

From semester 5th students become eligible for placements. In fact they are still going on right now. Major companies that i know off which usually visit our college are Bain, DeShaw, Delloite etc. So yea majorly consultancy firms. The highest package as of now in our batch is roughly around 18LPA it could go higher maybe in the near future as the placements are still active. The percentage of students as per my knowledge is around 50% while the placements are still undergoing.

Placement Experience:

Hdfc Bank,E&Y, Accenture and various other companies wants economist as their consultants. Ofcourse students of our course are offered junior consultant roles but being a consultant in such firms itself is a novelty. KMC helps in providing placements and that too to most as students can easily roam inside the campus without signs of worry of placements.
