Likes

I like the surroundings around the college which feels really cozy.
I also like the canteen area and the cafeteria.
I even like the Den beside the canteen area which is the best place to take a short break.

Dislikes

The benches in each class are really uncomfortable.
I dislike the fact that there are no printers in every laboratory
Some class doesn't have required fans, like even we have a big classroom , we got only 6 fans for 50 benches.

I chose this course called Bachelor of Engineering in IoT, Cybersecurity and Blockchain, as i already had a keen interest in cybersecurity field and this college provided a new course at my time of admission, so I took this opportunity and living my engineering like just as i expected it to be.

Class Size: 69Course Fees: INR 135200 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

This college provides loads of scholarships, financial assistance and campus employment opportunities. I personally think that the fee structure for our course is somewhat between reasonable and expensive. I found it reasonable because the college provides various internship opportunities too.

Campus Life

About this college, i like the fact that they provide various events every year after the re-opening of the college. They provide a fest called TML(Tatva Moksha Lakshya) which includes loads of events like sports, dances, games and more. And yes, there are some student-run social groups which takes responsiblity to conduct an event, to update everything to the students.

Admission

I attended CET entrance examination with 33 percentile which is very low, but the cut-off for the admission was 33 percentile only. So, i got admission for this course on the 1st CAP round with my name in the last on the list. The admission process went smoothly as each faculties were really nice and helping.

Yes, all faculties are interactive and friendly. But, there are some faculties who teach average , even if they do we are unable to understand their points. I appreciate the fact that, the faculties put a lot of effort to make us understand each topic.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. SIES A Honing Edge for young minds

I had applied for MIT pune and VIT after the jee and cet exams I never recieved any feedback from MIT. However i recieved 31000 rank in VITEE and thus applied for the admission process. However i got a seat in VIT Vellore ina higher fee bracket which was not ideal. Since i believed that further education(MBA Mtech) Was also required i decided not to spend too much for a college and so chose SIES based on my CET score.
