Insights from My College Journey

The curriculum is properly divided between subjects having theory as well as practical. The curriculum indeed prepares you for real world application or further academic pursuits. It covers the entire GATE syllabus as many candidates attempts for the exam to get selected in reputed IIT's or PSU jobs. The exams are held at a regular interval and are of moderate to difficult level.

There are abundant of internship opportunity provided to the students mostly in the summer of 3rd and 4th year. Internships are provided in both Core and IT industries. Companies comes on campus for providing internship. They take general 2-3 rounds of OA, technical & HR. After that students are provided with an internship. The college encourages students to apply more and participate in this kind to internship programs that mostly provides PPO at the end & even if not the experience that they gain becomes very crucial for getting a job at the time of placement drive.

The placement within our college is good. The students become eligible to sit for placement from seventh semester. Almost every student maintaining a decent CGPA of 8.0 & above gets placed. The average package offered is around 10-12 lpa. Around 90-95% of students gets placed every year.

The tution fee policy has specific demarcation based on the family income and category (sc/st) of the student with the maximum of approx. 70000/- per semester. There are numerous scholarships that are provided to the students based on their academic credentials and merit.

The campus life here is amazing. There are majorly 2 fest organised in a year which are Moksha (Cultural Fest) and Aayam (Technical Fest) which are held around April and January respectively. The infrastructure provided is decent. The range and accessibility of books and journals available in the library is more than enough. The classrooms have all the basic amenities along with all the technological provisions needed.

Inorder to get admission to the course one must qualify jeemains exam. The cutoff keep changing year to year and depends on many factors. The jeemains exams are held every year and proper notification are published before the commencement of the exam. The exam occurs in different shifts. The level of the exam is on a scale of moderate to difficult. The exam is completely online based.

The faculty to student ratio is good. The faculty's are experienced and expert in their subject matter. They provide adequate mentorship to the students. The faculty's are friendly and are easily approachable even after class incase students has any queries to get cleared.
