The course curriculum is followed as per gate syllabus and the extra portions as electives too. The electives are optional and we can choose from universities across NPTEL also. Exam perspective is moderate to hard difficulty level. And frequency of exams are twice a semester so thats easy. So i can say that overall real world preparation is gathered at this coolege level.

Students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards and the companies visited includes many reputed companies.. the details can be found from placement cell page in linkedin and institute website. A total of 800+ offers have been provided till now and counting. Highest package is 52 lpa ..average is almost 7.5 lpa. Students also opt for higher studies or getting a pinch of corporate life in job sector.

The UG courses providing Btech have fee waivers which are applicable when proper documents are submitted. But the dual degree courses does not have this fee waiver, they (BT_MT) guys pays 40-50k per semester. Scholarships are available but only one at a time, and as per govt. Rules. Complete cost of education is 6-7 lacs for a general candidate and much lower like 2-3 lacs for SC,ST candidates. Placement facilities are available and its one of the best in northeast.

All annual festivals are celebrated and holidays are also provided. Various clubs are there for conducting different extra curricular activities are huge participation is recieved in each contests. Overall total social development of a student is done and regarding sports, the sports complex of nita is very huge and our nit is winner in different inter nit sports participations. Nice provisions are there for sports, library, extra curricular etc.

Admission process is as usual JOSAA counseling and physical registration. Timely notices are updated in institute website and through news, social media u can get in touch. Reservation benefits include fee waiver for UG 4 year courses for SC-ST students. Admission process was smooth.

Almost all the faculties are having masters , doctoral and post doc from renouned university or institutions. Some are having doctoral & post docs from abroad. So qualification &credentials are top notch. Faculties are in charge of few students for personal mentoring and this affects a lot. Student teacher interactions in a college is limited to classes and labs only so i tried to grab as many things as possible.
