NSUT Delhi College Review

The course curriculum is fine but it is very old and needs to be revised for sure. There are many subjects with real-world applications and many practical subjects too like DBMS, Engineering analysis and design and many more. The overall Exam levels are good and happen twice every semester, one is mid-semester and the other is End-semester Exams.

The placements of this college are good and have been among the top colleges in the placement section in Delhi. However due to the recession, the placement of this college has also gone down for years 2023 and 2024. Students are eligible to sit for placement when they are in the 6th sem. The highest Package in 2023 was 45LPA and the average was 11LPA.

The fees for Btech are approx 2.5 lakh per year and increase by 10k every year. if you are a general student you only have an option of merit-based scholarship but if you belong to any other category then you have a lot of options for scholarships. OBC people get 80% of their fee. You also get the option of a Loan from SBI as there is one branch of SBI in college only and easily provides loans for financial assistance

Campus Experience is great. You get a very big college and students are allowed to come in their own vehicles. college has great classroom infrastructure and has a big library. it has all the necessary sports areas be it basketball, football, race track, volleyball, table tennis etc. There are a lot of social clubs for every category be it dance, music, theatre etc.

The admission is purely based on JEE results and merit basis. You have to give the JEE mains exam to get admission into NSUT college and have a minimum percentile of 93 to get admission into this college if you are a general student and are from Delhi, and if you are from outside Delhi then you need more percentile. Admission to this college happens through JAC Delhi counselling. It is a portal which includes all the engineering gov colleges of Delhi.

Faculty in NSUT are very Qualified specially the senior faculties some of them are also ex IES officers and ISRO scientiests . Faculty are always ready to help students with their doubts and queries. I would rate the overall teaching of faulty a 7/10 but some are very nice and good in teaching.
